Yeah The Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaki at the beginning of the clip. Apparently they were quite close. I was in Cairo when this album came out and bought the cd in virginmegastore in a shopping center near ard el golf on the recommendation of my friend who told me the history. I forget the name of the mall now but know it will come to me. Lol.

Good job, but i think you made one mistake that is when she said"والليل غمرني بجنون" I think you should have translated it to :"Tonite hug me crazily" غمرني means "hug me" in lebanese accent... Thank you,
i totally agree with you in everything you said. i listened to lara fabian before, i like her performance, but her voice compared to mageda's voice sounds like setti im 3ezzat voice. you can't compare this great strong voice espacially when she sings low to Lara's voice, Lara's voice espacially when she goes into a low level start to be very annoying. search on you tube for mageda singing opera and you will see the great voice she have, Lara wouldn't even dare to face mageda.

@nicofidento the song was made in relation to halim movie i guess when ahmed zaki -GOD rest his Soul- was suffering from lung cancer..r u trying to minimize Egypt's role in art and cinematography..or good feelings that egyptian and lebanese actors and singers have for each other?they were not in love if this wt u r trying to say they were friends ..
Of course, everyone loved Ahmed Zaki. When he died, it seems like the whole Middle East was in grief. Ahmed Zaki was so charming and lovable. Of course, everyone in Egypt and the rest of the Middle East was in love with him, and suffered tremendous grief when he left us too soon, way too soon. He died in his prime and we will always remember him as one of the greatest Arabic actors of the Arabian cinema. Of course, we all loved and will continue to love Ahmed Zaki. He is unforgettable.
