We had a blast installing 22" Habit Hand-Tied Extensions. Chelsea was looking for length and thickness. This method is the best of both worlds as the extensions are the most seamless on the market and deliver results that exceed client expectations.

Very neat system with precise processing. It's obvious this stylist has a bit of experience doing this sew in method & knows her color chemistry. Beautifully finished hair style. I enjoyed watching the seamless overview.

for those that have a little bit of wave under towards the nape, do you suggest a treatment first to help prevent extra matting?

A treatment is not necessary, we always encourage educating customers on proper care to prevent matting of the hair. if their hair is curly, we may opt with a curly textured extension. We have done keratin complex's treatment after installation of extensions for guests who tend to be frizzy in the humid months.

How are these compared to k tip extensions? Less damage? Easier maintainability? Do they last longer?

Hand-tied are as close to non-damaging as it gets. The installation creates a large anchor point. Keratin tips, are generally very damaging for hair and are difficult to install and maintain. Hand tied extensions can be re-used for up to a year if properly cared and maintained. We offer free consultations, book online or call us anytime.

Any hair extensions are going to cause damage to your hair. The heaviness of the extension pulling on the string will also cause tension.

The thread is tied through the bead anchoring the hand-tied weft :)

It adds strength to bead track & evenly distributes weight of wefts accross the beads. Also helps prevent beads from slipping during wear, shampooing & styling.
