Simple solutions: 1. Push all your clocks/watches by 15 minutes. 2. Always be honest. 3. Invest some money in a decent VPN. 4. Plan ahead, but don't forget to live in the present. 5. Learn to multi-task (especially chores). Learn some simple 3-5 ingredient recipes. 6. Stop making useless head movements.

The "Indian nod" vs the "German nod" really is a cultural difference. I am German, and spent almost a year in south India, and while I adapted to the slight headshake for saying "yes" or "I'm listening, I understand" within two or three weeks, it took me much longer to re-adapt to the western European style of nodding. Maybe it's because Germans verbalize everything: They say "mhm" or "aha", or even "ja" (yes) when they haven't understood a word.

I have only watched a couple of your videos and I am already loving your content. Looking forward to watching the others too. Keep it up. Cheers!! :) Again a good video. the points are very much relevant and to the point. It will surely help the freshers who are just traveling or will be traveling to Germany in future. And yeah the last one was actually funny. That struggle for us Indians is for real.

Being German myself, I really have to comment on the food offering issue. You don't have to wait until you're asked. As you said, no formalities! Just ask for the food you like. (Food doesn't mean that much to Germans, our culture is not as much influenced by food shortages.) I would even see it as a compliment for the host. For example: "I know I said No but now that I see this delicious desert I actually really do feel like eating some. Can I have some?" If there is room for it, I would even bring up this Indian habit of saying No at first, as it is actually more honest and authentic. In any case, thanks for the inspiring video. By the way, Point #6 (about the yes/no thing) confused me entirely...

I didn't understand what you mean by "culture not being influenced by food shortages". Does it convey that indian culture is influenced by food shortages that's why we say "No" at first. Don't get me wrong. I just wanted to know the intention.
