Far be it for me to advise you on anything! I have just subscribed to you, and, as a 58 year old, have been assembling and scratch - building, predominantly aircraft, 1/48 - 1/32 scale for ions... started on Airfix 1/72 stuff as a kid, to Monogram Shepard Paine era blah blah blah... I think you should explain that Tamiya Extra Thin etc is a solvent - based cement for polystyrene and indeed welds the plastic - I found your description a little bit like a pre - school teacher instructing kiddies... go into detail more, share your wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise. As with C.A.glue, my advice is to keep the nozzle clean with an a cloth, insert a pin or reconfigured paper - clip & use an old blade to chip away the build up - as for longevity, keeping it refrigerated will minimise build up and maximise lifespan - it'll last for ever in the fridge! My brother is a fitter and they keep all their Loctite in refrigeration! - believe it or not, his wife shared that little pearl of wisdom after she saw me 'abusing' my superglue by letting it go off and dry out due to poor storage! I pass this on mindful that no one likes a smarty - pants! Your patience is a virtue and your skill base is fantastic, kudos and par - excellence! kindest regards :)

Additional comment - With the C.A.glue, using the pin or paperclip to clean, clear & reem - out the nozzle, wipe clean SEAL with the cap... then refrigerate!

those join lines are horrible. for a kit of that price, they better fit perfect.
