I cannot explain how this movie makes me feel, I actually did a presentation for my college speech class over Hachiko. Hachiko is a great example of loyalty--one of the best movies I have seen!
This movie is so touching.. I almost cried at all when I was watching this movie.. I didn't know the true story about the real Hachi.. If he was mistreated as a nuisance at the station, then I just hope he will be happier in Heaven when he meets his master..

I have my own Hachi. She is a mixed Maltese and I named her Beautiful Jo. I read 'Beautiful Joe', a novel by Marshall Saunders in the 8th grade in 1954. It's a story of an abused dog. My Jo is with me all the time; she doesn't like to be parted. I'm 82 and I have a non-reversible lung disorder. My puppy is 2 years old and she really is my Hachi.
...non ho mai visto qualcosa di più toccante, qualcosa che arriva dritto al cuore, all' anima, e ti rode, ti graffia, ti brucia, e poi scioglie tutto con le lacrime, e lascia delle emozioni, delle sensazioni, che solo chi ama veramente può sentirle e viverle, come sulla propria pelle....ineguagliabile....non esistono parole per commentare questa storia, questo film, questi attori.....
i love you hachi...u made me cry so much...i am really a dog lover... i can't even stand the fact that people way back your time treated you badly while all you want was to see your master... i highly appreciate your loyalty...i wish to raise a breed like you...you inspired me for your love and loyalty...your master was sure lucky to have you...i love you hachi! everyday when i come on to youtube, i watch this video, makes my eyes fill with tears,ive seen the film yes. and i thought it was amazing, i cried myself to sleep, it shows that animals hav soul and that they care for us. its unbelivable how the dog waited for 9 years so sad. i love that dog =]
I've seen the movie, It's so... I don't have words to describe. Incredibile, amazing, I don't know... I cried a lot, and I think that love and devotament are the most incredible feelings on the Earth.
This movie makes me cry a lot .. reason I enjoy my dog a lot everytime I see him ! I’m so happy ! more then seen my wife! Dog lovers wlll understand this movie
my tears non stop for this movie, even when i jus listen to the soundtrack, it keep reminding me of Hachi.... the real life hachko... how was he that time, what was he thinking? he never give up even he was told tht his master not there.... i really wanted to stop my tears..... but i cant..... :'(

@kicubu pues si yo llegue a ver esta pelicula gracias a mi hermana que la habia visto en el cine con su amigo y pues en casa a mi me conto de lo que habia visto en el cine de hachi el perro fiel y lleno de esperanza por su amo y pues no pensaba que fuera muy triste hasta que lo vi en DVD y tuve que irme al baño y me puse a llorar T_T
The most touching music paired with the most touching story. Makes me dream what it would be if human devotion was at least half of Hachiko's! Take care of what you have!
I can't belive what this dog had been through for 9 years strait, I feel so sorry for him. He kept on beliveing that onw day he will soon again meet his master after waiting. Now they are both rejoiced up there in heaven :)
I havn't seen the movie yet, but just this short clip is powerful to make me cry... I almost never cry and I'm a 23 year old man lol. I cant wait to watch Hachiko
@tairanotomomori true. It wasn't until one of Prof. Hidesaburo Ueno's students (who knew Hachi) came to the station one day and saw the dog sitting there, waiting for his master. He was the one that started to write the articles in the Japanese Newspapers and made Hachi famous. Yeah and most humans don't know how to treat each other right. They only started to treat Hachi right out of shame at their own ways, the dog showed more loyalty than many humans ever would in a few lifetimes.
@tairanotomomori that's what people do!! they mistreat any street animal just because, hachiko's story really made me see how mean man can be and how loyal and sincere animals can be, LONG LIVE HACHIKO
@kumikotsukatani Nunca jamas hay que comparar un perro con otro,la unica diferencia podría ser la estatura,o la fuerza que tengan,pero el cariño,la fidelidad y la lealtad es la misma.Hoy mismo eh visto la pelicula,nunca habia llorado tanto en mi vida con una pelicula.
170 pulgares arriba(contando el mio), nadie ni siquiera por broma te a bajado un pulgar, la verdad es demasiado triste la pelicula y la musica es perfecta en mi opinion..., se me hizo un nudo en la garganta, yo tambien hice un video pero contando la historia y con loquendo, de seguro habra uno que otro que me haya bajado un pulgar, la verdad no he revisado...
