well the kite model is just used as a protector along with the azure knights. something like an "antivirus", when they spot an anomally ( aida etc) they try to delete it. it has nothing to do with haseo but since he misunderstands he is considered an obstacle.
whats freaky is what skeith says when hes released for the first time''i have found you'' which actually makes sense since haseo and sora from the original quadrilogy are the same person XD
.hack// had one of the best soundtracks in Anime and gaming history hands down. Such a great series. I recommend it to everyone. Espically if your a fan of Sword Art Online. Or even any other Isekai game based series.

SYKRAL Maybe that's because Haseo has got more power, seeing how Azure Flame God isn't an Avatar, but rather a Power Up for Azure Kite,and Haseo has a true, original Phase, since he's got a real Phase Of Morganna it's not that hard for Skeith to destroy Azure Flame God,and about the explosion, i would say that it was the reaction of Azure Flame God towards Skeith's Data Drain
Well,to understand the full story,you have to see the .hack roots anime,and play the .hack G.U game..Or go on the .hakc wiki..or just wathc a playthrough..xD.Its a bit complicated.

Actually, they are fragments of memory from the original .hack r1. They aren't kite or balmung or orca, just avatars full of aida. The azure trio irl went off to college and got jobs and shit.

lunerblade13 Well the thing is that a Persona would probably lose and here is why. If you are talking directly from the game, Persona attacks cost SP which the holder of the Persona would probably lose all the SP they have; even with items that are meant to regain SP. In addition, despite Haseo's epitaph from in game which still allows you to continue the fight, the only way to truly defeat an epitaph user is by using Data Drain after a Protect Break and since no Persona holds that ability an Epitaph can keep regaining the minimal amount of health it needs to drag out the fight. It is basically keeping true to the original games where the Eight Phases had an infinite hit point until Data Drain was used. That is my take on it anyway, it doesn't mean the fight wouldn't be long but I just see an epitaph user winning more than a Persona user.
That is true, I added the game mechanics in my point of view in their battle to try and convey what would be the outcome. With a 1 v 1 battle of clashing fighters I probably wouldn't be able to come to an entirely clear conclusion. The fight would be more elaborate and it would perhaps be harder to define a winner.
