Hey! I love the OSCP-prep videos. The reason is because you, in at least one of these videos, show how to hack into a machine ”manually”. With ”manually” I mean that you don’t use Metasploit, and instead search up the necessary exploit on Google. You did this process in one of the videos. ”Manual” exploitation is so good to teach your viewers because it shows how you could exploit a machine without the need of a framework. Please do more of the ”manual exploitation” videos! I believe OSCP requires you to not use Metasploit, so that’s another good reason to learn ”manual exploitation”.
Interesting that you never took the box name just to make sure RU-vid don't put it in community guidelines. good stuff dude. I am also starting HTB and your videos helps me a lot. keep the good work up mate
Thanks my man!! The audio quality on them is really good just a little disappointing in the mic department but I guess if you don’t need to use the internal mic then they’re great!
Great question! To be completely transparent, this video took be about 4-5 days to fully record. What isn’t seen in this is all of the rabbit holes I went down and things that I tried that didn’t work! I know it looks like I compromise this machine in 40 minutes but editing makes it the whole process look way easier than it really is. I don’t know a single person that could do this machine in 40 minutes 😂
Ah sorry! This video was specifically for my OSCP prep series and the priv-esc piece of this machine is more of a cryptography challenge than a legitimate priv-esc vector. Just didn’t want to confuse people on what kind of challenges to expect on the OSCP :)
