Hi Marlene!! That’s so exciting!!! 🥰🥰 for this video I was in my bathroom in front of a window and I used a fill light from Amazon for when the sun went behind the clouds! I use a camcorder and I do use an exterior microphone! The camcorder is a Sony and the mic is a Shure one. I added filming equipment to the description box so you can see exact links to what I use now including the light (I used to always link my filming equipment in videos for the longest time and then I changed equipment and forgot LOL!). iPhones are so great now though so I use mine a lot of times for my b roll and I ALWAYS use iPhone for my reels, shorts and TikToks! 🥰 hope this helps, I look forward to seeing you start!!! 😊
These are the direct links but I will say to start out I would just get the light (it has a holder for the iPhone) and start there until you get in a flow and then you can invest in camera later once you’ve gotten comfortable with the filming portion (that was honestly the hardest part for me LOL). Especially if you’re doing beauty content the lighting is most important so I learned the hard way that being in front of a window with a fill light is the best solution! Oh my gosh that’s amazing that you’re going too!! 🥰 I will definitely do a travel makeup bag sooner rather than later then! The face trace in biscuit is definitely more of a cool-grey. I love it for contour but it doesn’t warm up the face so if I want some warmth I do go in very lightly towards the end with a powder bronzer! (I love the Gucci one and also the haus labs is a new fave!)
