unfortunately, this is the norm in officials' servers. You said you might return to the isle, but the hacking problem is wild rn. A while back you just had to avoid certain times, but now I just run into hackers at all hours.
@@kav2538 Its gotten that bad then damn.. seems unofficials will be the go to then, even if they're a whole other can of worms, rather deal with a few rules over none at all + hackers.
Because they're literally too stupid to realize that they're hacking. Your average Isle player is like 12 years old and lobotomized, they'll look at a Stego running at 70 km/h and legitimately not notice anything out of the ordinary because they don't have the mental capacity. I've seen RU-vid videos where Deinos were running around at Carno speeds and the guy recording would be like "hmm, that looks a little fast, that's kinda weird, not sure if they're hacking though." It's unreal.
Ever played Team Fortress 2? In the recent years, its gotten a bot infestation. But years prior from that, we had people thinking cheaters with expensive cosmetics are legitimate players despite how obvious they’re using cheats.
Not only he got his ass kicked while hacking, but also had to rely on others to protect him That ladies and gentlemen, is the fine definition of a loser
I'm not completly defending The Isle here, but I think it's very hard to completely fix the hacking problem. A lot of multiplayer AAA games have the same problems as The Isle so it's not like it's uniquely a Isle problem. The only difference is that most AAA multiplayer games have the money to pay for lots of moderators, while The Isle is just an Indie title. Does it completely justify The Isle having NO moderation on officials? No, but it's definitely something to consider.
Yeah because unofficials have admins that actually care enough to moderate the servers, whereas official server admins and mods probably haven't touched the game since update 3.
@@karenboy1005 but why even play on the officials then? Like i never understood why i should play on a server with absolutely no rules (not taking the lack of moderation into account)
Because having 50 different rules to follow is boring. having even 10 rules to even follow is boring. If they'd just deal with the hackers everyone can be satisfied.
@@klatschi7968 because rules ruin the game more than they help it. The only rules that should exist are no megapacking and no mixpacking, but rule servers always go overboard and turn the gameplay experience into a snooze fest where you have to walk on eggshells the whole time out of fear of looking at someone the wrong way and breaking rule #52/b paragraph 19 underscore 12
It's been an issue for a long time, is it hard to fix that? I'm not sure but devs could've at least tried to at least reduce the amount of hackers, this game needs a new anti cheat and admins that are aviable when most hackers are online I don't remember seeing hackers during up.4, up.3 and etc Is it hard to get a new anti cheat? Can anyone explain that if they know it, maybe it's harder than i think. But devs had enough time to fix that if they wanted IMO EDIT: It's also emberassing to see that there are people who defend hackers, how is this game still alive? I mean devs just started making at least a few good decisions but there are still bad things they have to remove and a lot of fixes/patches, etc they have to implement but uh..
