My mother is diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. She has to go through 8 cycles of chemotherapy and its her 1st tmrw. She just got an bronchoscopy and biopsy done today. I really hope there’s nothing in her lungs. She is my only support and only family member. I’m only 15 and quite young for this world. We live on rent and have no full time job. I will overcome everything once my mother gets well. I hope God gives her a long snd healthy life. I rlly miss when she is not at home. I hope everyone going through this gets well soon!! Like this comment for updates!! Edit 1 : her bronchoscopy report showed no sign of metastasis(thankgod) Edit 2 : it’s her last chemo on the 23 july
Praying 🙏🏽 for you and your mother. Hang in there, you're stronger than you realize. Reach out to the social worker about your concerns, your mother's medical team, and especially your friends and their families. Good luck to you and your mother.
Praying for you and your mother. God is a healer and a provider. I pray He sends all the right resources to you and grants you the courage to continue being there for your mom during this difficult time. You’re so brave and will come out of this blessed beyond measure. Blessings to you! ❤
Epsom foot soaks are very important! That should be done once a day throughout chemo. I didn't know about that and now have toe infections that could have been prevented if I had been told about epsom salt foot soaks. All my toe nails are falling off and I am going today to get pus drained. So if your in chemo - do epsom soaks daily.
I don’t even have cancer- I searched up cancer because my cat has it. my condolences to anyone who does and the loved ones of those who do. I will pray for you
This proves that women are stronger than men. While I am curled up on the bathroom floor, this woman is making helpful videos. I have found that cold showers help a lot after chemo. Just takes some getting used to.
My mother’s going to get chemotherapy for stage 3 cervical cancer and I’m so glad that I found your video. Sending prayers and good wishes to all on their journey. Stay strong and resilient 🙏🏾❤️💐
Side note. With the smoothie be sure to consult w/ your integrative wellness doc or dietician regarding Tumeric. Depending upon your drug combo tumeric although wonderful for our bodies , can cause unnecessary irritation in certain chemo settings.. again it all depends upon your drug mix. I was told for Cytoxen to avoid tumeric. JUST AN FYI. I will blend the veg/fruit she suggested for sure though...
God you are a Blessing.. You are so sweet and thank you for making this channel..I am 46 and just got diagnosed with Breast Cancer.. So I will be binge watching your videos lol. ❤ And everyone else's imput In the comments!!
Yes this is so helpful. Yes she is such a blessing. I’m 46 too. I was diagnosed in January of this year. I started chemo on my birthday in February. I pray we all make it through this and heal thoroughly💜🙌🏾🙏🏾
if im ever told i have cancer i will simply tell them to leave me in a coma until dead.. no way could i go through chemo plus im emetaphobic so im not joking when i say i would rather die, go to germany or sweden or even australia and put me down life isnt meant for me... if it ever happens that is.. as for the brave ones out there going through with it and fighting it, you have my respect, stay brave and get through this
I absolutely hate seeing young people go through cancer. I mean, not great seeing ANYONE go through it, but it just feels like it's hitting people younger and younger more frequently. I have a very dear friend going through it right now, and she's young too. She's on a very powerful dose of chemotherapy because her cancer is an aggressive form. Kills me to see her go through it, but we got a plethora of good news from her scans and I'm hopeful seeing a little more light at the end of the tunnel will help her pull through the worst of her symptoms.
Fresh mint leaves in water is really good too, and it helps with nausea, sometimes I add some lime to it as well. Just roll them between your fingers a little before dropping them in, it releases their taste.
Hi Mags I started chemo 23 Dec and your videos has made my journey so much easier. Thank you. May God protect, keep you cancer free and bless you with good health always
Love your video! I just wanted to mention that my doc strongly advised against utilizing turmeric while on chemo. He stated that it does not play well with my chemo regimen (triple negative bc). Thank you for your awesome tips and you positive vibes ❤
My bff was just diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma stage 3 possibly 4! I am devastated but I have to remain strong for her!! I really appreciate all the info as I'm trying to do everything I can for her💚
Great tips. I Lost a friend 2 years ago aged 35 -SCCO - left behind .2 young kids - their father RIP also 2 years prior. Last week her sister diagnosed ovarian cancer. I followed Emily Haywards cancer journey from the start. Much respect for the strength you’s have doing this online. All the best. Xx
My Mother has type 4 Glioblastoma. They want to start her on Radiation&Chemo asap. I'm very hesitant with the Chemo. My Mother is a very stubborn Woman and praying that will pay off. Stubborn people are harder to kill. Any Prayers would be very appreciated. Her name is Lisa. Ty and God Bless ❤
@@absolutelyakanksha Ty! She is still hanging in there. She ended up stopping Chemo with only 3 days left because she collapsed. It about killed her. She has been doing this Ozone Therapy. Non FDA approved. Invented by Nicola Tesla. Great stuff! God Bless you 💚
Hi! Great tips! I went through chemo, radiation and surgery for breast cancer two years ago and I agree with you. A nurse gave me a tip to drink electrolyte infused water (like Smart Water, Life Water, etc.) because het patients had told her it goes down easier and was "smoother" if that makes sense and it was true! I still drink it nowadays! My trigger food or smell was bacon and french fries The fries tasted bitter for some reason and the bacon was from eating it when feeling kinda sick from the chemo. That one still lingers today! Hugs from Idaho
These sound like great ideas!! I'm starting chemo in 2 days, going to Keep this video for reference! 💖💪 I loved the ice chips to avoid mouth sores! I've been warned I might be prone to them.
I fast day before and day of - and no side effects thus far:) but I'm only at beginning:) I juiceTurmeric and ginger:) This mask is a great idea;) I'm doing it thank you:)
I'm going to start my first chemo this week and will also vlog my journey! I have motivational videos in my channel for now. Thank you so much for the tips!! This will help me prepare to strengthen my body! Stay strong fighter! ❤️
Same, my first session was horrible! So glad for these tips n tricks going forward! Any suggestions for acid and heartburn from all the aftercare medications in your system after each cycle?
Thanks for taking the time to post. Old remedy for migraines is to soak a slice of brown paper bag in ACV, then lay in a dark room with the piece of bag on forehead until it dries about 10 min. Has to be a brown paper bag. Also, for nausea fennel tea is great. One of the ones I use has peppermint in it as well. Last thing is, the detox juice needs pepper to help the turmeric absorb.
I’m so glad that you found such good hacks to help. I’m going to use your tips for nausea and headaches. I’m not on chemo but suffer from both nausea and headaches often.
Add pedialyte to water for dehydration. I normally buy the powder pedialyte and make 20 ounce of water. Store in frig and use 1 ounce to glass of water during day.
You’re a blessing. My stepdad is just starting chemo, VERY high dosage, and my grandmother only got radiation so chemo symptoms are new to me. He can’t eat but we were able to get him a feeding tube as well as a central port. His nausea is very bad so I’m about to enlighten him about the ginger. Do your headaches seem to feel like tingly tendrils in your head? And I’m gonna start rubbing peppermint oil on his head , since we massage it a lot anyway. New subscriber here 💓
I’m just starting my journey well I’ve had a double mastectomy I’m not sure if I should agree to getting chemo everything points to not getting it except I had 2 lymph nodes that were positive. I hope you are doing great!!
These were very helpful tips. I’m loving all of your videos and your positive energy takes a lot of the fears off I have with my first chemo. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
i just fast three days before and two days after take small amounts of butter to line the stomach for the dexamethasone pills and nausea medication and come out the other side with less side effects and fasting makes the chemo more effective against the cancer recommend searching for fasting during chemo
Thank you so much for sharing that. I too am going to be doing the fasting route pre & post treatment, but had not been sure what to do re: the dex. Butter is a good answer; some stomach protection without throwing you out of fasting or ketosis. Best wishes Bronze Age 🙏
Your smoothie sounds amazing!! What about taking magnesium supplements? I take them every night to try and prevent migraines. For mouth sores you can add some hydrogen peroxide to mouth wash, or buy it already made at the drug store.
WOW, this Is some very good info that I didnt know. GI Detox and probiótics- Have been amazing for me.Thank you for the info. Love to see that you are doing lots and lots of essential Self care.
turmeric doesn't absorb unless you use black pepper with it black pepper contains Bioperine that assists the absorption of turmeric, otherwise turmeric does very little
Magdalena I don’t know what happened to my message so I’ll start over. For nausea two sips of cold but not iced Coke. Hydrogen peroxide for a mouth wash. And ibuprofen for the aches. I would have also suggested the Epson Salt foot soak but you beat me to it. Best to you as always from me your friend, sub and supporter in New Jersey. 💕
Headaches are the worst one for me. Starts while I’m getting chemo and only goes away a couple days before my next round. I’ll try the ice pack thing for sure. I do take the T3s because I’m weak but they honestly don’t do much so you aren’t missing anything lol Hope treatment is going good!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey... mine will start December 7... scarred and terrified to say the least.... will be six weeks of chemotherapy radiation.... PET scan was absolutely clear... good news... installing the port December 1 at the hospital.... my GP knows I am having alot, alot of anxieties and prescribed xanax to help manage in those terrifying moments with realty....... but I will be ok........ TIM
Have you tried the Pepperment Halo from Sage? It helps my headaches so much because it’s peppermint and cooling in the head! I love it. I love your videos so much! It’s inspiring to see how positive you are ❤️
It sounds crazy, but some latest research suggests that going to the gym/yoga/stretches-nothing hugely strenuous-immediately-same day as chemo (not the next day after treatment) can really positively impact on side effects-that’s if you have been very active prior to treatment!
I LOVE THIS VIDEO. I struggled/struggles cause autoimmune diseases and a chronic rare severe one. The allopathic medicine and the alternative therapies together helped me to recover from terrible symptoms and strong medications as oxycodone and morphine. The autoimmune diseases improved and the rare one has been cured. ❤️ People used to say that just alternative therapies could have helped me, but no one is the same. In my case I really needed a particular kind of surgery and meds before and the alternative therapies later. This is very smart video!!!! 💚💚💚 Sending love and good vibes 💞
Eva, I'm really happy to hear that your diseases have improved! It is definitely an amazing feeling knowing that you have some control over your illness. And you're right, no two bodies are the same; therefore, some medication or treatments may not work for everyone. Thank you so much for sharing ♥️♥️♥️
My skin is so sensitive i cant use anything other than e45. But the nausea is brutal and ginger is a good help :) i use ginger tea and add lemon and honey if needed
I've been following your journey on youtube and think you do an absolutely wonderful job. It's really odd that you use bentonite clay in your mask. The soil here in my town in Southeastern Colorado is primarily bentonite clay - it expands and contracts with moisture and lack of moisture, causing driveways, sidewalks and foundations to heave and fail. Soil that has bentonite clay has been the major cause of structural failure in a couple of the neighborhoods here.
Benzonite, clay Aztec clay rather is made for ur face and entire body. It was number one in beauty industry at a time. I highly doubt it’s 100% benozonite if it does that! U can order it off Amazon they give 3 well used too. It’s great for your skin. Much love xo
Peppermint gum too helps for nausea. For migraines my Dr said extra strenght Excedrin. I had terrible migraines but one dose took care of it fully..not natural but saved me from days of headaches.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 23, your videos are helping me a lot! They are keeping my mind at ease while I'm dealing with this. I had my first chemo treatment yesterday. How often do you do the face mask?
Going through chemo also, and water taste sooooo bad for like 4 days after! But to me it taste like plastic if that makes any sense but also like you I try to flush out my body so lemon water is the best until water taste good again. Also for the headaches coffee! I try not to take more medicine then I have to but if it’s really bad I drink a cup of coffee take ibuprofen followed by a hot shower annnnndddd nap. And I wake up energized and pain free
Yes it has been! She said that it will not interact with my chemo. However, some herbs may interact with chemo so it is advised that patients talk to their oncologists about trying new foods, herbs or products in general!
Yes, water tastes sweet for me during chemo. Did you experience any issues with constipation? Any tips? I had to resort to an enema. What kind of chemo are you receiving?
Hi mags, I start treatments on Monday and I’ve been watching your videos and my biggest fear is the vomiting and having headaches. When you make your videos were you sick or feeling well.
