One powerful revelation that came to me once while I was performing/channeling Sophia and has stuck with me ever since is this: “god is the body of the mind-the mind is the body of god-the mind is the god of the body-the body is the god of the mind-god is the mind of the body-the mind is the body of god” no matter which way it’s ordered, each of the permutations of the same core trinity reveal a different aspect of our symbiotic relationship with the divine. I felt this little mantra resonated with this particular antinomy, I hope you can glean some light from it. ❤
Do you feel clever? Why are you channeling psychobabble if you believe in God. God is in our hearts, that's why we call it home & say to follow it. The mind w/ ego and temptation is the devil's domain. But that's what info channeling gets you.
regarding not knowing what mind/consciousness is, i like Michel Henry's solution. he thinks that life can never be revealed to us in any other mode than living. we could apply a similar logic to mind, that we don't know mind through intentionality not because it is obscure, but because of its intimacy. Descartes said that "it at least seems to me that I see" and Henry interprets this "seeming" as the hidden life which is the foundation for all seeing. seeming does not refer to a seeing of something, there is no object of seeming. it's in a sense a necessary tautology, that seeming sees itself so that something can be seen. life subsists in a completely invisible realm because it is the vision which never appears as a seen. contra Kant, it's not that the there is a noumena beyond appearance, but that the act of appearing itself never appears.
Made in the image, image being archetypal, for instance myself I find my images of beauty and pleasantry is not one that is agreed upon by those outside of me or not me, not my own. For me the antimony here would be the repulsion or fear my preferred imagery or let’s just call it art cause it is not reserved to just pictures. A film depicting insanity, self destruction, and general confusion and anxiety is my preferred “entertainment” and enlightenment. But the antimony lies that the evidence of my joy, another’s unsettled feeling…as a grand concept there is nothin more grandiose for me personally and the others that anxious and repulsed have the highest authority and the highest power. Which to me is the repulsion that tangent and could be taught through simple logic and critical thinking, which unfortunately has been incorrectly attributed to many antimonies with zero understanding or attempt to decipher the the true meaning of critical thought.
