The beautiful Haew Suwat Waterfall is located in the Khao Yai National Park in Thailand. This was the very first national Park in Thailand. It opened on 8th September 1962. Since 14th July 2005 the Khao Yai National Park and the forest of the Dong-Phaya-Yen Mountains are a UNESCO Worldheritage of Nature. So when you travel to Thailand, this National Park should be on your bucket list.
The Haew Suwat Waterfall is about 20 m (65,6 feet) high. Beside the viewpoint at the bottom of the Haew Suwat Waterfall, is another viewpoint at the top of the cliff.
And this is the story of the Haew Suwat Waterfall. There was a thief named Suwat. One day, when he escaped the civil servants, he cornered at this waterfall. So, he decided to jump into the basin below. If he survived or not ... I don't know. I didn't find more of this story. Maybe you find it out, when you travel to Thailand.
