Hāfu individuals are well represented in the media in Japan and abroad and recent studies estimate that 1 in 30 children born in Japan are born to interracial couples.
These young Hafu I met on the set speak both Japanese as a native tongue and English sometimes as a second tongue. They are out spoken and all over social media in Japanese and English on insta.
They will be the future and I asked them about them being the future of communication or bridges between culture and languages.
