1500 years old Hagia Sophia, an important Byzantine structure in Istanbul, Turkey and one of the world's great monuments. It is believed that it is the last of three church buildings to be successively erected on the site by the Eastern Roman Empire, it was completed in 537 AD. Hagia Sophia started life as a church, then it became a mosque for 500 years, and now it is a museum. Hagia Sophia wasn't always its name and people believe it has healing powers.
