Trivia : while composing this masterpiece, RGV Asked rehman sir to make a sensual song like " katte nahi katte din ye rat ". Rahman picked up rudraveena tabla and made a tune based on raag puriyadhanasri. At first RGV was hesitated because the song feels "too much classical ". But when swarna latha ji and hariharan ji put life in this song along with magnificent composition of rehman ji, RGV was rendered speechless. He was shocked by the energy and vibe the song has. Bollywood wasn't ever aware of what was going to hit them, in the form of rangeela album.

A very underrated singer . He is a rare Mix of both hardcore classical with modern music. Had a chance to attend his live concert in Hyderabad in 2006. He is same as great live as in movies/videos. Love to listen to his work always . Huge respect for him.

Without any doubt, Hariharan sir is the only singer in India whose live performances are much much better and full of surprising varieties than his song recordings. Very few singers voice is just the same in studio and some functions or concert.... And hariharan ji tops the list. What a soulful voice he has... God gifted.... Not only singers but really audience are also appreciable.They 2 are singing and only their echo is audible which indicates how peacefully and silently audience are enjoying the song rather than shouting and throwing things on artists like today audience😊😊
