Great video. Very informative. I would have appreciated more explanation on the soap drawer showing where to put the powder soap vs the liquid soap. Where can I get more information on that for this model?
love these videos. i bought myself a haier from another range (HW100-B1439NS8) a couple of months ago but returned it the same day i got it due to it having extremely sensitive balancing. it was the quietest machine i've ever used though, so if anyone is looking for a quiet machine then i'd definitely recommend buying one. haier do look brilliant, i certainly would have kept mine if it was a little more sensible with balancing.
modern washing machines always distribute the load evenly around the drum before going into a spin. during this distribution, they monitor how unbalanced the load is and will stop and redistribute the load if it's not balanced enough to spin. different machines have different tolerances for how well-balanced the load needs to be for it to spin, and that's what i mean by the sensitivity. the haier i had would redistribute for an absurd amount of time with absolutely everything, where my other machines would spin most of the distributions first attempt, because they aren't unnecessarily sensitive like haier are. for comparison, my haier once spent 20 minutes balancing a load that my current machines (LG and 2x zanussi) would all spin first attempt. the advantage of being overly sensitive is that it's going to be very quiet, but the disadvantage of being overly sensitive is that often you'll find it either takes forever to spin, and occasionally you'll find that it doesn't spin at all, or spins at a reduced speed (mine limited the spin to 800rpm the first time i used it...). hope this helps
@@thelaundrycookie1200 that’s a brilliant reply and explains it perfectly . My partner likes to absolutely ram it full hahah so that would be a massive factor for me . I like the idea of how quiet it can be though as I’m relocating from the garage to inside the house in a new utility weve made
Normally this is caused by the machine not level or the transit bolts have been left in.if they have you need to remove them straight away as it will damage the machine if not
I’d not heard of the brand until a few years back when my sister bought a fridge Freezer from them and it was miles ahead in terms of spec and clever features. Not sure if it’s true but I was also informed that Haier are one of if not the largest appliance manufacturer in the world, just not historically common in the UK but huge in other countries
It's a Chinese brand, but from what I heard they are quite good. They have many subsidiaries that you might have heard of, like Candy and Fisher & Paykel. I am considering going with one of these as well.
9:30- I think this is an extremely good feature. I have a Miele Washing Machine and usually end up having to let it take 2-3 hours to do a full Cotton cycle, because the faster cotton cycle with extra rinse (1 hour 18 mins) does an incredibly quick, rubbish rinse. If our Miele allowed us to add say 2 or 3 extra rinses, it would be much better. I also notice the longer Cotton cycle gives a far superior spin, with the clothes coming out much dryer, despite both the quicker cotton cycle and the longer cotton cycle both spinning at 1600rpm.
Thank you for making this video! It is very hard to find any information on the B14939S8 series, despite the B14939 being very popular. The video was very easy to watch and the info you gave was helpful, and I daresay influenced our decision in buying one ^_^
Hiya I just got this washing machine but why is it not spinning all the way it’s going half the way like a ride side to side when does it fullly go all the way round
You could find that the load in the machine is too small? All modern machines need at least half a load to adjust the load in the machine and spin properly
Brilliant video very informative. Struggled to find one that talks indepth on the functions. Really helped in making up our minds, will be going with Haier. Thank you
Just waiting for a delivery of this washing machine in exactly the same colour. I think I've made a good choice. I never thought a bloke could ever fall in love with one, but I have lol...🤣💕👍
I have 2 questions: How to set up the end signal /buzzer at the end of the wash. And how to use the steam function? If i follow the handbook, i do not get the beep off or on display, simply nothing or 00.:00 and with all the symbols on and a red triangle with a" !" in the triangle. Sadly the shop people do not know much about the product they are selling.
Steam function only works in Cotton, Mix, Synthetic, Hygiene (auto-steam), Baby Care and Daily only. You will notice that these have the same steam icon on the knob
Does anyone know if this model has a rinse hold option as I am looking for something that will allow me to do a wash on cheap electric during the early hours, hence the requirement for rinse hold? Both the Hoover H7 and Candy Rapidó both seem to have this option via the demo mode on the HoN app but I don't see it on the Haier demo. Cheers.
I’ll buy this. Thanks a lot for help me decide faster and making us know that Haier is a good brand at a very economical price. Do they have a Smart model?
This is where the child lock has been accidently initiated on the machine. Depending on the model you have, you may need to refer to the instructions to find out how to release the child lock. The main thing is the machine won't be faulty.
bought the hw80 version a few weeks ago, very quiet machine, good washing results, the quietest washing machine I've ever used, excellent 15" program for washing less dirty laundry. preferably use the recommended amount of washing detergent, quality workmanship. when the woman in the house is happy that is the most important thing, that's why my husband recommends buying this washing machine.
The nuts in the back are transit bolts. They are designed to keep the drum steady when the machine is being moved. If you leave them in when it is being used, then it will damage the machine and will not be covered under the manufacturers warranty.
Hello our machine no HWD80_B14979 washer and dryer 12 kg wash and 8 kg dryer and we dryer clouth 1 hour 2 hour clouth warm and still wet we don't no how we can use dryer plz help
I bought the 8kg model of this washer/dryer. I discover something new everytime I use it, that's me skipping other pages in the manual lol. I have friends who works at appliance stores selling washer/dryers, their best recommendation is not to overload it. I have 8kg washer so I only put about 6kg, and is just the right weigh for the dryer too.
