I have an idea for what happened Hinata was bullied for being quirkless by Bakugo and eventually Hinata gave up on his dream to become a hero and went to an average high school full of quirkless kids Eventually bakugo became a hero and Hinata still held a grudge against him so in spite he desired to become the opposite of what his past bully became… a villain…..
