She is definitely singing live. Some of the backing vocals are prerecorded to be sure. But you can hear her live voice singing and it’s distinctly unique from the recorded version.

Its a very layered vocal track so she has to sing with playback. Typically when artist record songs like this, they will sing the same lines 100 times in different keys, pitches, tones & layer the voice, thats what happens in this chorus in original.

It's highly processed with autotune and various effects, her real voice accidentally being audible a couple of times. Not her fault, she has talent, but layer too much into vocals and you screw it up for her.

She has been... pitch perfect 2 and pitch perfect 3.

Pitch perfect does exist and of course she will get cast in more musicals. You are guaranteed that actress with singing background will get put in musicals or at least be on the list. You won't want actors who can't sing now
