So am I. I mean the whole popular mean girl trope has simply been done to death. Especially in recent years like with Pacifica Northwest from Gravity Falls and Boscha from The Owl House
At first, I really thought Kristine was going to be turn out like Belle from Hamster and Gretel, or Olive from Velma, or Julia from the 2023 reboot of Total Drama Island. She could still turn out that way, since I know Julia also started out acting nice and they both have a thing about hiding a dozen to infinity phones in their clothes because they hate circumstances where they have to turn in all of their phones, but I would still be very sad if Kristine was the twist villain that Julia was.
It was so satisfying to see them iron out their insecurities to each other. Both are coming from understandable places. I'm glad they're both cool with each other now😊😊
I like to think that because they’re becoming friends it’s gonna be even harder to that kiss, because on top of that you don’t want to hurt a friend but Kristine and Scott will eventually break up because they realize they were really just together for the fun of it but they aren’t really compatible and probably never actually liked each other in the first place, and maybe then Scott will realize what he wants in a partner is basically a best friend which is Hailey so then he realized he likes her too
I feel so sorry for Kristine. It’s obvious who Scott has more chemistry with and him and Hailey are most likely gonna be endgame so she’s basically just wasting her time with him
I really don't get the hate the show is getting. The first couple of episodes aren't that great, it's true, but then it found its path with all the next ones. The humor is good and there are plenty of moments like this one in them. I honestly don't understand why many people hate it... even one of the few people I follow on Twitter does... or should I say... followed, until I unfollowed her after how harsh she was on it...
A lot of people also expected this show to be the next "Owl House", "Star vs The Forces of Evil" or "Amphibia" for some reason. Personally, this reminds me more of "Milo Murphy's Law" and "The Ghost and Molly McGee".
How exactly does Kristine have a healthy understanding of self worth if she gets into an immediate anxiety attack the moment she loses her hat. The moment she loses her hat or stops saying hashtag for a minute she goes into a full blown panic, can’t function normally, and loses all sense of self.
I mean like maybe at the end of the show I mean do you really think the creator is going to make Scott and Hailey kiss like in the first season just hang in there before you know it there going to kiss :)
If the Disney bully pattern is right and that the bully character will eventually become the best friend/love interest then im betting the end goal will be Hailey X A.C. 😂😆😂
Only works if A.C shows some redeeming qualities, looks like there making him out to be a one dimensional rival to Hailey. Also likely A.C is the one sending Chaos Bots to the past.
When I watched Road Trippin' and Escape Doom, it was at that point in watching Hailey's On It when I realized that Kristine must be Hailey's On It's closest equivalent to Alexis from Craig of the Creek. I noticed they have a similar body type and voice, and Amanda Leighton's impression of Karen Fukuhara is really good.
I’m glad a lot of people share the sentiment as I do on how refreshing it is to see a character portrayed as super popular and yet doesn’t act like a snobby egotistical jerk. Kristine is adorably sweet and likable and I commend the show for going against the “popular mean girl” stereotype.
Ten years from now I expect the bar to have moved so far that it would not be out of line to imagine a poly relationship being a possibility for these three. And you know. I'd rather like that. I always hate shows where there are two perfectly nice girls who like the same guy, and one of them has to end up a loser and brokenhearted.
