Hailun VG-278 9’1” Concert Grand 

I popped in the piano shop and played it. I was stunned to see it there. I had no idea that Hailun released the concert grand. Amazing instrument!!

A phone normally doesn't pick up bass like that. Rich and mellow!

Making a booming bass in a concert piano is not difficult. Creating focused, clear, rich and powerful middle and treble registers is another matter.

Might be one of the best sounding concert grands I’ve heard in a video demonstration. I wish I were a few hours closer I’d love to play some Schubert or Beethoven on that. Maybe time to trade my HU 7p in. Or add it to the collection.

what hammers do they use -their own or some other.

After a while the Hydraulic lids start to squeek! I have also serviced one that was missing a plate bushing from the factory. Otherwise, not a bad piano.

It honestly seems like they were trying to make the best piano they could. You don’t see tri-cords to often even on high concert grands.
