BLEEDING MANIC PANIC HAIR DYE!!! & APPLE CIDER VINEGAR RINSE!
This video shows the aftermath of dyeing my hair with manic panic and the steps I took to correct the dripping dye from my hair!
I absolutely LOVE this dye and the colour payoff is amazing! But the dripping dye was driving me crazy... until I did some research and did an apple cider vinegar rinse. Watch the video to find out more!

Omg yessss Hair dye fail was Splat I wanted my hair to be lavender purple. Not only did my hair turn hot pink but it bleed all over my pillows and clothes 🤣 lesson learned now I just go to the shop or use hair paint

I hear that ! I'm currently dark turquoise/ black. Everytime I sweat, shower or any moisture and I stain everything. Alcohol, hand cleanser, vodka and surgical alcohol all help in the clean up of the bathroom or staining, even hands. It's a little gentler than bleach. i have faced the same problem so many times with manic panic dye. since im quite pale, my skin always ends up blue. hands, forearms, ears, neck and forehead! ive never heard this tip before but its so useful

I am as white as snow and I used after midnight from them, needless to say I turnt blue for a MONTH so did everything that came in contact with my hair, I could barely run my fingers through my hair without my hands turning incredibly blue, definitely trying the vinegar thing

Wow I just tried it today and OMG it works wonders!!! I had blue and green mix dye from lunar tides and it was bleeding like crazyyyyyy and as soon as I tried this method it stopped bleeding and the water was clear!!! Tysm!!!

Okay, so I washed my hair with a shampoo from the same line since I had it already and I had the vinegar already too. I sprayed my hair in sections and then twisted it like she did. I left it in my hair for about 35 minutes and the. Shampooed it twice. After rinsing it out there was still some bleeding but no where near as much as before that. 😊

I went and had my hair professionally done and the stylist didn’t tell me this would happen and it is a nightmare. I have very long and thick hair. Dyed it a violet/raspberry color and it looked like a blood bath in the shower. I also spent a fortune and just want it out at this point. Going to try this. Thank you very much!

I have always had the same problem with red bleeding everywhere!!! Thank you for the tip...Im in process of coring my hair today and then use asv rinse at the end. My mother used asv for new tops to set the color and to keep tops from fading and it always worked. Love your hair color by the way. You are a lifesaver and a furniture, pillow etc... Saver!!! I just watched this video 2 nights agoo & just tried the apple cider tonight!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCHHHHH, I thought I was going to have to throw my wig away! @@mysticallavender-200 sorry I’m just seeing this but what I did was I filled my sink with warm water & added the shampoo along with apple cider vinegar & continuously dipped it in & out of the water. You’ll see a lot of dye at first but after you change your water a few times & repeat the process you see the color of the dye stop running.

I used colorista in tube, after first Rinse absolutely no bleeding and did top dark purple indigo and mid shaft down electric blue. Supposed to wash out after 7 washes, 30 washes and still vibrant.

My favorite dye is splat luscious raspberries. I use it religiously cause it's super bright. But the bleed is crazy. Lay my head on my man, and he's stained. WHEN ITS DRY, JUST BECAUSE I SWEAT. I just went back to the color, only this time, I'm trying the ACV. If this works, you're a fucking hero. Will update in the next hour! Update: IT WORKED. still washes out a little in the water, but BARELY. WORKS AMAZING B

I'm about to do this with the Bragg ACV I already have. My hair is also blue. It's with Ion Color Brilliance from Sally's and I usually use this dye because the blue lasts all year. It may fade to a teal and seafoam color, but that's impressive for a year of even using sulfate shampoo with hard water. But I cannot deal with the staining right now because of my job and I sweat a lot at work, so I hope this works! I'll update.

I recently did mine using the vampire red and rock and roll red and i was rinsing for three hours before it ran light pink. Even after that my first wash was still running pink. But u are completely right it does give brilliant colour.

Bright colors pretty much no matter what but splat is really bad cause its not very high quality but even the best bleed a little (mostly when wet), but doing something like covering your hair in a protective layer (like oil) or just avoiding touching your hair to things and getting some kind of hair covering may help. Just an unfortunate consequence of bright hair.

It actually works really well. I did this with white vinegar when I was dying my hair and when I washed my hair the second time around, and we used a color remover, my hair was still super pigmented. Which mine fades very fast, but this time with color remover it was like one wash.

OK so I found and watch your video last night after experiencing days of my newly dyed hair bleeding, making me look like I've just murdered somebody! I gave your advice a go but didn't have a spray bottle to hand so I used a jug filled 3/4 water and the rest with AVC. Today I woke up with no staining on me or my bedding and I have you to thank!!

I didn't have a time limit, I just kept it in as long as it took to cover all of my hair (as it's thick, it took some time) and then rinsed. I didn't want to leave it on too long to damage my hair

Manic panic Infra red totally stained all my jean jackets and my hair was completely dry. I find myself washing my denim almost every week. I have long locs and manic panic bleeds onto my tops a lot. Thank you very much for posting this! I have had the same experience with some henna. But, I have noticed that, when I mix a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil into the henna paste, I don't have henna dripping out from my hair after washing it. The classic henna powder works the best with this method. I will try the vinegar rinse as well! For how long have you left the vinegar working into your hair?

I purchased the manic panic dye in infa red. I followed the instructions and everything that my hair touched turned red. It got all over my towels and clothes and if it touched water it would bleed so bad!

I have artic fox blue hair and its been bleeding everytime i shower. The acv kinda worked?? I staryed with cold wster and the water was nearly clear but as soon as i shampooes and made the wayer wsrm the water got really blue. Idk if the acv dodnt sit long enoigh or what

Hi, I’m not sure if the same thing still applies because I’m honestly so confused about my situation😫 I bought a wig some time ago and noticed that the colour was fading onto my clothes and bedsheets and it’s just been a nightmare! Will this tip help stop it from fading onto my clothes? Would honestly appreciate a reply as I’ve been struggling with this for so long and this looks somewhat similar to my situation 😩😩

Girlll i have manic panic vampire kiss, grogeous bright red with neon pink undertone but it bleeds soooo much and this is the first time i've had manic panic bleed like this. Gonna try this tomorrow and hope it works cause every tiny but of water and there's neon pink water every where, the cracks inbetween the shower tiles are already pink. I'll check back in once i've done it

Tried this hack bc I was having this problem with my hair bleeding dye aaaand 30 minutes later I ended up using the whole bottle of the diluted stuff. And even after that it was still bleeding horribly.

I tried ACV on my newly- colored hair. So how do i do this? On one video, the vlogger advised that i should put ACV after i put conditioner on it and that it's okay not to wash it after. So i tried this sequence: shampoo, conditioner, remove excess water as much as possible, ACV, do not rinse. I did this today and i notice that my gray towel has so much pinkish red smudge on it after using it on my hair :( Am i doing something wrong?

I’m having a super hair dye fail, of course that’s why I’m here. I’ve been back and forth to the beauty supply store. I’ve bought now, 3 bottles of hair color protecting shampoo, conditioner, 2 bleaching powder lightening packets, 2 bottles of 30 volume developer, and 8-10 bottles of the same crimson red hair dye 😤. First I had to bleach the hair twice, then I did the hot water dip dye method and the color didn’t distribute evenly too much of the bleached color still visible, then I dyed the hair again this time the regular way then I had uneven red color, then the final red color came out a dark burgundy/ plum and I don’t understand how that happened! So now I’m trying to strip the color so I can dye again, only this time if it doesn’t come out right I simply quit!!!! Lol 😂 I will be done PERIOD! The bleeding thing was a problem too I just used the color alarm shampoo.

All I use is Manic Panic for me and my two daughters. My youngest one had the same problem, but I think it was because I didn't have to strip (bleach) her hair prior to coloring. Now she is only 9 and she was naturally blonde enough that the color took well. However, when you have the hair of a young girl with no damage whatsoever, the color could have a hard time holding. Since your hair seems to be soooo healthy and well cared for, the dye just couldn't trap itself in hard enough. Once, I started doing pre-lightening to her hair, we never had the problem again and it even lasted longer. So, thanks so much for such an awesome alternative to destroying my daughter's hair before she is 16. LOL.

I have bleached my hair prior to using manic panic. I'm currently sporting vibrant bright red (like a fire engine) and it bleeds like hell. I've managed to stain my sheets, basin and bathtub so far. Bleeding is very common.

So pro tip use rubbing alcohol. I usually use one that’s like 90%. Just let it sit before wiping it off

I am back. I dyed my hair saturday chestnut brown demi-permanent. Color looked red that was my first mistake. After I dyed my hair color was red mainly in the front. When I removed my tshirt it were red spots all over my tshirt. I rewashed my hair it looked the same way. I so your video on Monday. I washed my hair first with sm castro oil thn the vinegar after that I condition. I dried my hair. It was not any spots but when I put in my conditioner and braided my hair the next day it were more spots on the tshirt. I am planning to wash my hair Saturday but it is still red in certain spots. Is it okay to use acv method. Sorry about all this typing but I need your help.

It's difficult for me to give you advice because I don't really know what texture or type your hair is. However, when you use a semi or demi-permanent, you should expect some running of the dye, it happens all the time. My problem was that mine was excessive. I would not recommend using ACV too often as it can dry your hair out. If you've used it once, I'd say wait a few weeks before you use it again.

They do have ASV shampoo so try washing with that and never use hot water...also try to only wash 1 to 2 times a week n use dry shampoo in between washes. O always use ASV rinse at least 1 time a month and it does not damage it at all...it makes it shiny and it removes all the buid up in your hair. Maybe in your A .M routine have a spray bottle w 1 part ASV and 2 parts water and spray it on before getting dressed. Hope this helps.

Your video has just came up as I searched how to stop my hair from bleeding I use manic panic vampire red and my hair run in the shower like crazy!! Nails constantly pink!! Just wondering do you have to do this treatment alot because I'm going on holiday soon and don't want to rid of the red but I don't want it to run in the pool:( please help ah!

I literally only did this once and it pretty much stopped the excess running once and for all. I was still very careful though but it wasn't dripping dye in the same way after that. Good luck!
