im 16 years old nd your hair type and mine are similar. i grew up for 10 months and had to cut because of school. your hair looked amazing at 2 years. hoping to get hair like this after my 12 class.
Wow man, your hair looks amazing! Trying to grow mine out as well but it's such a long process. Are you still growing it longer? Would love to see an update!
Yes, it's a very long process, needs patience. I am still growing, but stopped recording the videos monthly... I can do an update video at 4 years mark, its a good idea
Nice! So 4 years would be March? It has to be so much longer now. Can't wait to see the difference. It's hard to keep going without good inspiration 😄 @@positiv.
Thanks for sharing your journey. I am currently on my 3rd month of growing my hair and my hair is so thick and it’s wavy I don’t know if it’s gonna be curly. Is your hair thick too? It’s really difficult to shape it on my current period, did you use any hair oil?
My hair isn't thick, but it has some very closed curls, specially in the ends of the hair. I use oil sometimes, only when it's too frizzy and dry. I think it's a great thing to use on dry hair, which is my case too, but I'm kinda lazy
your hair continues to be amazing and currently is, with that said and three awesome years, it seems to be you, i was wondering if you "tried" straighening your curls out, what is your goal in general is are you going for the below the shoulders, waist floor? how bout an update and dont stop your videos.
Hey! My gf straightened my hair once, but I didnt like it. I don't have any specific goal about the hair lenght, I just let it grow because I like and I think it fits well. I plan to make an update video soon :)
I don't intend to make more videos right now. But I did nothing specific, just washed with shampoo and conditioner, brushing after, while it's wet. Using hair cream helps to tame the hair too, before brushing. The best thing is to forget that you are growing it, just tie or use a cap... focus on other stuff in your life... when you realize it will be long. About the trim, I just did it once, after 2 years into the journey. I think I will trim it again at the 4 years mark.
Hey! No, I didn't stick with any specific shampoo, I tried different brands along the way to see what works the best for the hair. I only use a specific shampoo now, after a long time of growth. I live in a country with a hot climate, so I usually wash the hair 3/4 times a week, especially after sweating a lot.
Hiii your vdos looks good❤,btw i have a doubt ,i have been growing out ny hair qnd it has been 6 months now and the hair is not satying its position ,can u tell about how to cut a maintainanance cut??😊
Hi :) I don't know how your hair looks or if it bothers you too much... but I recommend you trim your hair after 1 or 1 and half years. If you are not too bothered, leave it, or use a cap or something to go out. With 6 months I would try to avoid trimming... try to be patient and good luck on your journey
I have the same hair type but never grew it long because it looks bad between 1 month and 8 months. What do you use for shampoo and conditioner? Did you change it between 7 and 8 months in, because there is a noticeable difference?
I experienced some different brands of shampoo and conditioner along the way and picked the ones that worked the best... If your hair looks like mine, I recommend something for dry or curly hairs, so it doesn't leave it too dry after washing. Try to lower the frequency you wash it, it may help with the appearance... But never leave it too greasy, find the balance for your case
Just let it grow and don't overthink. Try doing the basic stuff, read about your hair type etc. You can use a cap once in a while, or other accessories
