Those are his natural hair , coz if he would go for keratin or smoothening/hair relaxers then the newly grown hair from his hair roots would be more thicker and different. But all of his hairfrom his hair roots has constant thickness.
Probably genetics. But if you want to get more voluminous hair use hair products. Don’t air dry your hair. Scrub with a towel and use a hair dryer, it’s also important to dry your head upside down so it’s not flat. Use powder to fluff them up. No gel no oil. If it’s still not enough you can buy a can of dry shampoo specifically made for volume and apply it on your roots it really works
Bro just comb your hair backwards for atleast 2,3 months and they will get a volume for sure.I didn't use any kind of product other than shampoo(just for washing).
