Welcome to my RU-vid channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...
6. 0.5mg fin

A few things that I think were missed. .1 What about over harvesting ? 2. What about Giga Sessions and why so grafts at once ? 3. Is it safe to do so many grafts. In the U.S it's not recommended to extract that much donor hair in one time. They recommend two sessions that need to done possibly after a year. I think 2500 at one time is what I read. (I could be wrong). Regardless this was so informative and thank you for doing this. I have a session booked for December with Cosmedica and this video has a made it much easier with the decision I made. Dr Acar seems genuine and really passionate about his work. So trusting his judgement.

Hey, I decided to go for a HT with Dr. Acar, however I came across some stories where people were telling how they depleted their donor area and shit...I honestly don't know what to think about it. Dr. Acar seems like a true professional, he does everything I want a doctor to do regarding the transplant itself and I do believe you. I feel like you took me on a ride and we fight Norwood Reaper together, so if you really think he is a great doctor I will give it a shot, but only the most expensive package. I really want him to do my excisions.

I’ve seen the procedure first hand and can say they are careful when strategically extracting grafts from the donor area.

I had my second day of HT with cosmedica today, with the initial consultation and incisions made by Dr. Acar. I cannot recommend the clinic enough. Trust me, my hairline was slighter higher than I thought it would be but that was because Dr.Acar wanted to find a happy medium between high density and hairline design. He was leaving grafts as a plan for the future incase I wanted another operation, and he even used beard grafts to add some density to the crown area. So no, from my experience they did not over harvest my grafts

I had my hair transplant done at cosmedica one month ago today and can hand on heart say I had a very good experience! My donor area is perfect now and has already fully healed. Dr. Acar is a gentlemen too! Never rushed me in the consultation.

This man definitely knows what he's doing... I think I'll go with his clinic... Just need to be sure of the method.. But I think the Dr would advise his honest opinion... I have thin hair on top but a thick dense donor area...

Can you answer a question. I’m taking Finasteride but want to add Dutasteride once a week or once every two weeks. Is there a benefit to this or any combo that adds dutasteride on a day when I don’t take Finasteride? So like 6 days Fina and 1 day Dut or 13 days fina and 1 day Dut. Any thoughts or research on this?

I wish i would of went abroad to get my transplant, but I was scared to fly so i stayed local. I recently went through a hair restoration procedure in San Jose, California, and it turned out to be the worst decision I ever made. I paid a fortune, believing the doctor was the best in the field and an artist. However, instead of him working on my hairline, his technicians did the job, and the results were absolutely horrendous. I can't even begin to describe the depression and embarrassment I felt after the procedure. It was especially difficult because I had just become a new dad. I thought I had done my research, but so many things went wrong during and after the process that I'm filled with regret and shame. The doctor did offer to fix it for free, but he didn't take responsibility for the poor job. I'm scared to go back and unsure of what to do next. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have any advice on how to handle this situation? I could really use some support and guidance right now.

I was considering going with Dr Acar but it’s quite pricey, was 5700 usd for the Dr Acar package which is equivalent to 7163 cad. I feel for that price, I could save a little more and get it done in the states also Vera clinic and Dr Cinik also have similar results but are way cheaper. Personally, the price is the major barrier, but if you have the money, I guess you can go for it.

@madferitnorth2244
@madferitnorth2244 2 года назад
Everyone's hair line is naturally asymmetrical, one must even have their new hair line desingined this way for hair transplantation. You cannot get natural looking results without this. All good doctors/surgeons do this.
@hairliciously
@hairliciously 2 года назад
Uneven hairline is good, that’s what makes it look natural.
@kimisenna6013
@kimisenna6013 2 года назад
@@hairliciously uneven as in the inconsistent work of the the 2 techs that worked on either sides. The right side is zigzagged and has a natural design as you've already mentioned, however, the left side is a STRAIGHT line of single grafts; a gap of ~1/4in, followed by the remainder of thre transplants. Don't get me started on the aftercare... It is a hairmill, a relatively better one, but a hairmill nonetheless.
