Headaches are mostly caused by the hairstyle. High ponytails hurt for most people. Low hairstyles are generally better because they don't change the direction the hair is laying in and distribute the weight better. It also depends on hair type and how sensitive your scalp is. Shine depends on lighting, hair type, color, products, and health. Probably in that order
It doesn't matter how long the hair is, it's what kind of hairstyle and how tight they are. The constant tugging and pulling at the scalp can cause headache. Wearing it in a lose style or in a braid helps reduce the headaches.
As a hair stylist a lot of these videos are just using too much product. You don’t need all that. Maybe 2 or 3 tops. The reverse wash one, washing and then dipping the hair in a bowl of water, like why?!?
