I tried doing my hair like this today and my hairdresser bleached it, did not even place any type of toner and dyed it to a color not even close to grey. It came out looking like dark brown which is what my natural hair color already is. This is the perfect description and look of what I wanted to begin with!
This is exactly what I want to do except without the chop! I have some grey strands coming in and they stand out so much against my black hair. You did such a great job with the colour, will show this to my colourist!
Hey, lovely tone and colour. Can you please detail exactly what products you used to lift and if you used 10 vol developer for the whole lift. Then also list exactly what was used to tone it. I am looking to buy exactly the same products to get the same look. Much appreciated xx
Is it okay to use 30 volume developer with toner? I heard that might be too strong? If so, is there any way to dilute the developer (with conditioner or water). Love the look btw!
@@channelrandom7 I don't think you would ever want to use 20 volume to deposit color. 10 volume maximum. The 20 volume isn't going to deposit the toner enough it's going to open up the cuticle it's not going to look shiny and it's not going to seal the cuticle. At least that's what I've been taught. Sometimes I use lumi shine demi-permanent liquid as my toner and that uses a five volume
@@Masterchief92 there are certain toners such as the wella t18 that require the 20 vol because its a permanent. it really depends on the formulation and ive seen stylists tone with permanents before, like on roots where they would apply a dark, permanent color to blend in the regrowth (idk if u consider that a toning service). But yea, most demis will either use 10, something lower like a 5 or something a bit higher like a 13 vol like wella color touch.
Never use more then 10 vol when using a toner. More than that will open up the cuticle and lift the hair, which will result in a warm, not neutralised color and excessive damage.
my daughter wants this exact style. Could you tell me what products you used? officially retired from the business, so I understand the process. She is Asian and the one time we went to a salon her hair took hours to process and not even a light yellow developed. When we tried again, we used a box bleach which gave her the highlights, but now she wants the silver. This is why I would love to know the products used to get her the results she wants. Thank you.
Can I have this done with very little difference in color with my natural hair? Mine is naturally like hers (dark brown kinda black) but want to lighten it a little and like this style just instead of silver like a chocolate brown. Would you recommend or think it won’t show up? I need help 😅 I would like to use no bleach if possible, I have never had anything done
I love the combination of purple and silver? Question, after applying the bleach you dont need to rinse it? You can add the color you want for the toner? Thanks in advance
Great job !! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 , I love it My hair is dyed and bleached to be light brown -around level 5 or 6- and I want to have a dark hair like her then blonde underlayers , my qs is , the black dye gonna damage my bleached hair ? and does it need a lot of care like blonde ? And the underlayers how can I bleach it without damaging it ?
I curl starting at the mid shaft of each section. For a beachy look, it helps to keep the ends straight and uncurled. I also alternate directions for the curls for a more tousled look.
My hair after bleaching becomes very dry and its color is orange I bleach again sometimes I feel that it has burned it has become bad, to find out what is the secret of healthy hair after bleaching, I usually go to wash my hair with warm water only and then I apply a balm but it does not fix the damage and the dryness is great, after two days I repeat bleaching again until I get a light white color, but the result is great damage burnt hair the appearance of hair is very dry, can you help me and tell me the correct way bleaching, how to protect the hair from damage and damage and what tools I can use, I want to do such a beautiful color😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

Hi I'm from Algeria I want to ask you. About if you are using only the 10 volume or 30 too. And what about time . I mean time break to use 10 and after 30 volume
I have my hair like this but just blonde in the under part, I don't want it like that anymore cause it's so damaged, what can I do? Can I put other color on top?
I just dyed my hair like this and I have a few very important questions please: 1. Should I wash my black hair and white hair separately? With separate shampoos or can I use my purple shampoo on my black hair? 2 The ends of my hair came out a little bit green/grey/brown, can I fix it the way that I would re-dye it with white drugstore dye at home? I dont wanna go back to my salon, because their work wasnt really the best and they charge A LOT. 3. At the hair salon they told me that purple shampoo would fix the green/grey/brown part and they didnt even told me to come again. Is it true? Is it going to be lighter if I just use purple shampoo & conditioner?
Thank you for sharing. That was Beautiful! I was a Hairstylist in my first career hurt my back , I don't do hair anymore. I was thinking bleach my gray to Platinum then having dark brown Under lights with the butterfly cut. My hair is past my bra strap. I think it would look so cool, and maybe relatable to the students I assist with. Also I need another drastic change!!
I came back to this video after liking it a few months ago. It's really gorgeous and the image sticks to my memory. Did she get a perm or just styling with iron curler? I have tanned skin and really want to go for this look!
