This is unrelated and related. I love how RU-vid has shown us soooooo many beautiful black women with long healthy hair (and taught us so women like myself have it too) that I automatically assumed when this popped up on my feed that that is all your hair! I just appreciate the moment that we can assume that. It's beautiful to me. That aside, nice job. It looks great!
I know salons have to make their money but the prices are outrageous. Hence the reason why I do my own hair. I like the olaplex line. Use it for the first time and it left my hair so soft amd still felt moisturized after a week. I actually stole some form my sister then decided to get my own🤫 Love the hair own you btw. I like how flat it is, make it look so natural
And don’t forget the “extras”, gotta pay extra if you have longer, thicker hair, detangling fee etc. I just gave up cause the price you see is never actually the price!
I’ve been natural for a few years now but honestly I’m getting sick of it. I really love the hair style you have right now. I want to get my hair relaxed and then get a see in but I also want to stay natural, it’s a huge dilemma.
I understand trust me. It all comes down to what is convenient for your lifestyle. Be natural and staying that way was just way too much of a commitment that I couldn’t stick to hence why I had to return
@@AlwaysSetApart I wish it was that simple!! I sweat in my scalp area VERY EASILY!! Simple things like cooking; doing housework almost any activity causes my hair to sweat. Therefore , my silk pressed“straight” natural hair certainly doesn’t last more than a few days. Very frustrating!
Gurrrl I felt the same but got me sum creamy crack.but u def gotta stay conditioned , moisturized and sealed esp if u have a leave out. Just promise urself ur Gina baby ur relaxed hair
Your hair looks amazing. As a natural I would not knock anyone for going back to relaxers. However, this looks like more work and more expensive than rocking my wash and go making it more trouble than it's worth for me (emphasis on me). For anyone who complains that natural hair is time consuming and spend so much on products, the same happens with relaxers, and then add extensions on top of that. It's great to see this as a reminder since sometimes I miss having straight hair. It's more like choose your poison based on how you want to show up in the world in my opinion.
This process was very simple. Wash, deep condition, blow dry and optional styling. There are shampoos and conditioners that work well on both unprocessed natural hair and extensions. Since most of your hair is protected underneath you don't have to be as concerned with being "gentle". You also don't have to be so concerned with getting the perfect curl by spending 45 minutes shingling and then X hours drying it in the perfect position, midweek touch ups, etc. Wash and gos have been much more time consuming and damaging for a lot of us, especially type 4 hair. *It's not always about picking a poison*. Some people's hair simply can't thrive from wash and gos-- It thrives when its tucked way or even in a straightened stated. I've never come across a video on relaxed hair with a sew in, so this was great. This is not "more work". This video just wasn't for you and that's ok.
@@JT-tx2ns I'm started to agree with you! I'm on medication so I didn't want a relaxer now but I forgot I was on medication before when I was relaxed so I'm thinking about going back to relaxing my hair because my natural 4c hair is something else! I'm going to keep growing it out now and eventually start to heat straighten my hair. Right now I'm just blow drying it out!
TRESEMME is literallly the best when it comes to extensions the best 🗣 I can’t use on my natural hair because my hair feels like it’s gasping for moisture but when you bleach, dye or need to rejuvenate your extensions when I tell you tresemme will forever be my old faithful to getting my extensions back poppin for sure especially the moisture silk line
just a reminder YAHUSHA (christ) is coming back for His chosen people. please make sure you get your life right, walk in love & remember everything is temporary & your soul is eternal. read your bible it’s our (african american) history. shalom 💙
Try putting your shampoo and conditioner in an applicator bottle diluted with some water to get in between the tracks it will def help, that’s how my hair dresser washes my sew ins🙂
Love the hair routine. I sleep with my straightened hair the same way, gives just the right amount of curl at the ends for long hair. I can't wrap my hair. Too much effort. And the sweater your wearing is soo cute. 😊
You absolutely did not lie about making sure the braids are FULLY dry! If not the whole hairstyle is a flop. Immediately no. Just a no. Lovely vid, hun. 💕
@@IsnSheLoveLee I'm shocked to be honest. I'm currently natural and have been the last 6 years. When I did wear a lot of sew- ins prior to being natural even with weave a wash and set was like $25-35 tops and that is in Staten island, New York. I was surprised when she said $100 honestly. Lol I guess I've been out the game too long. Actually looking to get my hair permed again. I'm over being natural. I'm not having fun with my hair like I used to so it's no longer worth it for me.
I'm natural but for me, a life saver has been kerastraight LOL which my white hairdresser (whose amazing with afro hair) does for me. Literally, it softens and eases my natural 4z hair. and makes shrinkage, tangles, shedding and breaking less of a thing. I also hate wigs and weaves but considering doing like partial wigs
I’m natural and I decided to texturise and do hair botox treatments in between and I love the results I was really over natural hair because I prefer wearing my hair straight it’s easier to manage 😊
She is so pretty and so clean.... I love how clean your videos are and so relaxing 😌 I just started my RU-vid and it’s so slow but it’s RU-vidrs like you that keep me going....
Where have I been? Last I knew you were wearing wigs. Either way, good update. I go back and forth about getting a relaxer again. I workout so much and I prefer straight silky hair plus moisture is easier to maintain with straight hair: just me
Can we have pajama details? Also, a lounge wear/PJ collection video? I think that’s suiting for the people who work from home and lounge all day due to the p@ndemic.
This is my first video of u . I don’t even wear wings but ohhhh my😅 what a gorgeous woman We have the same hair length but mine is less thicker so i will install extensions ❤️and will try this style
I’m new here….Because of the #thumbnail. Clicked because I was like “Wow Hair! More proof that Brown Girls can grow long natural hair”😳 Completely had me convinced. It does look super natural and it blends effortlessly with your natural hair. Very nice.👌🏾
I went natural for literally 2 days😭😭my relaxed hair was split and damaged so I wore braids for about a year then a big chopped. Now my relaxed hair is in better shape than it's ever been. Sometimes you need to start over lol
