My biggest tip is to work with nature instead of aginst her. I have the straightest hair. So much so that even stylist have given up giving me blowouts and opt for heavy curlers instead (which fall out anyway within a few hours). When i try to get my hair curly it never looks right because it can never holds well. Instead, i inspire myself by looking at women who rock straight hair and work towards making my straight hair work for me.

Can second this. I have thick, frizzy and wavy-curly hair. On bad hair days my go-to hair tool is a curling iron as it works with my hair texture, unlike a straightener which would work against it.

Hi Julianna! Thank you for making this video! I tried your heatless pin curls last night and it has totally changed the way I curl my hair! I used to use the Kitsch Heatless Curling Set, and while it worked to an extent, it failed to curl my hair evenly all around. I was blown away by the pin curl results this morning! I have thick and straight hair that struggles to hold a curl, but it's been 12+ hours and my hair still looks wavy and voluminous! The main problem I'm experiencing now is frizziness when I take the pins out and "poofiness" when I brush my hair out (since I'm going for the voluminous and wavy, not tight and curly, look). Do you have any tips for minimizing these effects?

They’re life changing right?! I get you on the puffiness; I currently use a hair serum that’s like a gel so it doesn’t weigh down my hair. It’s from ogx and it’s the one with sparkles in it (the exact name is escaping me atm). But if your hair is sleeker or less fine a hair pomade will work as well :)
