Best show I've ever seen. Detroit July 1982. Brutally hot and humid at 10pm, the walls of Clutch Cargos were wet with persperation and humidity . They came out and killed it! An amazing mixture of people, punks, goths, suburbanites, I was right up front sweating and having the time of my life.
What a treat to see them all together before it all fell apart. They sound great and how impressive is it to have like a digital backdrop -- very ahead of the time.
I was first exposed to Haircuts 100 when I was on a year abroad studying in Scotland in 1980. They became one of my favorites and I still love listening. Love Plus One and Fantastic Day rock my world!
Saw them just two weeks ago in Belfast in a smaller venue called the Limelight, A Truly awesome experience!!!, A truly talented group of musicians👍❤️❤️❤️
Love this. A big proper band - I'm sure that has been overlooked. The funky vibes kept me tuned in here, for sure. Here, looks like before bigger things, but that dress sense is already there? Weird AF as it is x
An excellent upload! Just been watching Nobody's Fool video - obviously some money being spent there what with the crane shots and whatnot, a shame it was the last single.
I was a huge Haircut 100 fan, went to a bunch of their shows across South of England, and had forgotten that they always opened with Low Rider. Thanx for reminding me.
I’m pretty sure this was the same performance that was shown on Showtime’s Rock of the ‘80s. I have it without the sad cuts, but all my VCRs have worn out.
