Best technique of any barber I've seen. Easy and works very well as long as you're not using wahl clippers. Andis and oster clippers this is the best way to do it. Awesome job

This video helped me soooooooo much... I didn't have a perfect idea on how to do a burst fade and I had a client coming and I was super nervous. Once I remembered this vid, the fade came out cleeeeeaaaaan💯💯💯

some say it help dissipate the heat from the clipper since the housing is open.. but the main reason people started cutting the housing was access to the tension spring without having to take the case off of the clipper for fast adjustments...also with the top of the housing gone its easier to cut/trim mustaches and around ears. hope this helps
