HairCut Harry's Texas haircut was filmed at Otto's Barber Shop in the town of Brenham, TX. The interior of this barbershop has not changed since the 1960s! Step inside and you'll find the vintage bench that was made especially for the barbershop when it opened as well as the original shoe shine station.
Otto's Barber Shop moved to its current location in the 1960s, but it was originally across the street. Eventually, Otto sold the shop to Elroy Dannhaus who is the current owner and barber.
If you ever find yourself in Texas driving between Austin and Houston, then take the time to get off the main road and go into the old town of Brenham. Stretch your legs, get a cup of coffee, eat some food, and visit a classic 1960s American barbershop!

You may not all love the haircut but the asmr in this video with the hum in the background and the rustling of his barber tools is off the charts. In all fairness to the barber, it is of course an older barbershop so Harry isn't going to get some of the more modern styles that he usually gets in other videos. And since Harry doesn't tell the barbers how to cut his hair, the barber just gave a shorter version of what he already had. Can't really get mad at him for that.

one thing i have noticed with your haircut videos. There's a noticeable divide between the younger and older barbers you've been to. I think the best haircut you've gotten was from the nomad barber and that all your other better cuts come from the younger guys. As much as the older guys have a lot of character and do solid no nonsense styles in quirky shops, i think the younger generation have definitely stepped up and are taking the old school styles and skills and doing exciting things with thme

Yup, I think that young barbers want to learn as must as possible as quickly as possible and there is probably a lot more drive to broaden their abilities because nowadays it so so much easier to be exposed to alternatives. We all overtime, irrespective of our occupations, become comfortable in doing things one way verses another ... the case of Otto's Barber Shop I'd be curious as to how much of the local markets desire influenced this over time.
