It’s probably just to make the cut easier. It’s much harder to ensure everything is even when the hair is curly. If the guy wanted straight hair, he would have had keratin. It’s kind of a thing on this channel.
Jordie Madison as someone with curly hair it’s wayyyy easier to cut the hair while curly, just because you can see how the hair actually ends up in its natural state. cutting curly hair while it’s straight ends up looking bad because when the hair reverts you have pieces that end up different lengths because not every curl is the exact same. the best way to cut curly hair is while it’s dry and in its natural state

The comments are funny, and I agree, his desire to show a dramatic ‘before’ and ‘after’ pics are sometimes over the top (lol), but he is still a skilled hair stylist and barber. (I do think dude looked better with the curly hair, though. Now he just looks like everybody else.) Just my opinion. 🤷🏽♀️. Also, thumbs up on his flat-ironing skills. 😉
I don’t think it’s people don’t appreciate curly hair, it’s just easier to deal with straight hair. And as you get older you just want something easy to throw up
I started watching Makki's video recently and I'm addicted. He's a MASTER when it come to hairstyling. I'm sure he could do ladies hair as he's so good with all lengths of men's hair. I would love to have him cut mine!! Not sure I could afford him though. I'll keep watching.
Some people want to change, to reflect a change in their life maybe. It's like buying a new T-Shirt although the old one isn't broken and somebody who has never seen it, likes it.

I always skip straight to the end of these kinds of videos EXCEPT for the vids on this channel. I watch from start to finish. It's very therapeutic. I love watching the hair being shaped around the face, ears and neck. If I'm in Dubai, I'll send my sons there

cory I literally just thought the same thing. If there is an appreciation for curly hair, we evidently won't see evidence of that in these videos, which is a real shame because some of these dudes have gorgeous curly hair, and after cutting and trimming it, he goes loco on the keratin. It's almost like a crime to just be yourself these days. Not everyone wants or needs straight hair.
People, stop throwing hate coments just because Jason straighted the customer's hair. Remember that every action that Jason did Was as the customer said.
i know these are about the transformative power of texture and sometimes color. i was wondering if you can do another video taking his curl from dry and neglected to something more moist controlled and beautiful. hes a good looking guy and i think he lost some of that with the smooth style.
I agree, technique wise it is amazing but I wonder how they really feel, changes to our persona can be really dramatic and doing something more familiar to who we are can be less dramatic, I would have like to see this guy more curly than straight, I think his curls is what make him as attractive as he is, you are a beast though. You need to look into the curly girl method. This dude is never going to style his hair like that again. You never brush dry curly hair omg i was cringing
People don't think that he(the barber. Hairdresser) do what the client wants. So don't blame the stylist for what the client chose. I like the final result....
I just hope he tells them how to care for their curls because I'm pretty sure they womt do all of this flat iron and blowing drying at home. They looked a mess when they came in so that tells me that they didnt take proper care of their hair on their own at home.
Curly hair is easiest and best to detangle when wet with conditioner in it. Also multiple passes with a hot flat iron causes heat damage and his natural beautiful curls could lose their shape and health.
Please make a video on how to "style" curly hair. My son has the same type of curl as the model( a softer curl) and I learned nothing , we live in Boca so straitening it is not an option , too humid and he loves to swim, plus he is severely autistic , so it must be practical.We do the ponytail,and two curly top pony tails , and braids, I have straitened his hair with a flat iron , takes forever,and it ends up in a ponytail cause it gets in his face. Noooo I wanted curly hairstyles! His hair looks so nice curly 😍 Good job on the fading tho. When I get my curly hair cut, I specifically instruct my hairstylist NOT to straighten my hair. She knows to cater to each of my curls without brushing it out.
