I’m 100% in agreement with you Brad. My kids are 16 and 18. I’ve always told them (and encouraged them) that I’ll color or cut (have a pro do it) their hair any possible way want. And they should wear what makes them feel great. My boys had hair down to their butts until their early teens when they started cutting and dyeing for fun. I was an 80s New Wave kid who always did crazy shit with my hair and my very conservative parents were always ok with letting me be myself. It’s SO important for human development to be allowed to express ourselves and feel confident and happy in our bodies. Love your content. Just recently found you and I love your Wave Tech line! Words cannot even express how absolutely BEAUTIFUL rainbow hair is if you do it right. The first one was STUNNING. I must say though, the second one is definitely my favorite. He SLAYED. The makeup looked so good with the hair. And the last girl despite it being kind of light still looked AMAZING. I love the way she styled her short hair.

I know you're not a parent yet but I want to say I absolutely agree with your statement on kids coloring their hair. I raised 5 - all married now and have given me 15 grandkids. With my experience, knowing that battles parents face every day, hair color is just not a hill to die on. If they want to cut it or dye it or style it a different way than we may agree with, it's an easy yes, and we don't get to say yes to everything. It's all about balance and wisdom in knowing that line is between being over-permissive, and being over-restrictive. Love all your videos. You don't know it but your videos are always so fun and refreshing and take my mind off my struggles. Plus you tell me I look "beautiful" and "stunning" and "ravishing" etc. every time I watch you 😁So thanks again!! Sending love from Seattle ❤

My mom has always given me the freedom to do what I want with my hair. After all, it's my head. And if I don't like it, it's my problem. I've dyed my ends blonde (it got damaged but we cut it off once it started to get frizzy, and then i had my natural brown hair) and kept them for around 5-6 months. This was around 2-3 years ago when I was like 10-11, now i'm 13. When I was around 8-9, we dyed my hair orange. It suited me really well back then, but I don't think I could go back to that anymore, and I won't. My mom loves dying her hair, and i'm really grateful she lets me decide for myself. Around 4-5 months ago I dyed my hair black. We didn't dye roots because the box dye we used was really burning because my skin is super sensitive. So, the brown started to grow again and now it's a mix of brown and black, which doesn't look that bad as I expected. I actually kinda like it. We dyed my roots around 2-3 months ago maybe, not sure. Two days ago I decided to cut my hair short. Like short-short. Before my mom didn't accept it, because I was too young to decide that myself. But now, she has changed her mind because i'm older. I'm kinda nervous because I have heart shaped face and i'm not sure if it will fit me. I have a straight, thick hair. I had bangs when I was around 10 but they've grown out so i keep them on the sides, like as a curtain cut. I kept cutting them because I really liked it. I definitely want to try more colors in the future. I've tried black, purple, blonde and orange but there's so much more colors out there. Looking forward to it. 15/6/2021

The first one turned out SO GOOD ! I was shocked ! But the last one... you can see the natural color beneath because of the non sectioning. It’s like she did it halfway. But honestly for homemade rainbow hair, congratulations !!! It turns out good

My 6 year old daughters have their hair dyed. I had to bleach their hair but we just don't touch the roots because they have sensitive heads. Also we use semi permanent hair coloring because they like to change it up and do lots of colors.

When my 2 boys were little they were into Pokemon and I would cut their hair myself. They liked the spiked look so I totally bleached their spikes and they loved it and wore it to school! It was fun!!

Those three are all sick 😍😍😍! I've always wanted to do the rainbow hair... But I needed to start at the beginning, so I went for a white, always been obsessed with it, and I nailed it. Hard maintain so I went for purple and green who evolved into a nice green mint, then I dared the galaxy hair. Also hard to maintain but doing it homemade helps to keep it longer. Then I went for hades blue, and finally Cheshire cat inspired look all purple with pink layers. Now I've choosed beautiful deep dark roots and vivid orange. All that in less than a year and now I'm ready for the rainbow but my hair is not x'D . Lockdown people, tattoos shop were closed 😂 !

I just recently used XMondo hair color the Super Blue, Super Pink and Super Purple and all I've gotta say is WOW it's amazing, smells so good and made my bleach damaged hair look and feel so good and the color is so vibrant!!

I have a whole head of curls. And I am debating on whether or not I should pixie it again just to relieve the stress because there is a LOT of dryness. But I DO know I want unicorn hair.

my daughter turned 5 back in 1998, and started kindergarten that fall. she really wanted to dye her hair pink for the first day. I wouldn't bleach it all out first, but I let her have a hot pink dye over her naturally dark brown hair... she loved it! I sent her off on the school bus that morning and she was so excited to show off her new color to her all her friends! later that morning I got a call that I needed to come into the principals' office. yep, they thought that my daughter's hair color was a 'distraction'' to the other students... it was everything in my power not to roll my eyes. I was sitting in front of them with god only knows how many greens and blues I had in my hair at that moment (it was all this mermaid look...). I was like look- bottom line- if I'm going to argue about what color hair she has at 5, we are going to be arguing about every little thing that comes up. hair grows out. I didn't let her bleach it, I didn't shave her head, i didn't give her a face tattoo.... I gave her hot pink over her dark brown hair because I knew in 14 washes it would come out on its own. come back to me when there is a real reason for me to come into the principals office. and I left. I was never called into that office again.... *shrugs* bigger things to worry about than dyed hair. if it makes you happy, dye it!!

Thank you for NOT cutting that out about kids! I dye my 7yo daughters hair every time she has a break from school. I would never do to her what was done to me, because I have no right to tell my child she can't change something on her own body as long as it won't hurt her!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that you said to let kids dye their hair because life is too short. When my son was 13 and wanted to dye his hair bright tomato red, we let him. 4 months later he was diagnosed with cancer and spent the rest of his short life bald. His red hair was short lived, but he got to have it and be really happy. My mother was mortified when we let him do it, now she says she's glad we let him do it. It's just hair, and being strict about it could lead to regrets.
