I think the girls who played Penny and Amber were the best singers.... They really went all out.... Not saying the girl who played Tracy wasn't good... She was great.... It's just that, to me, she was lacking on making her voice outgoing.... That's my opinion....
Halli Sturm I actually think the total opposite, the girl who played tracy’s voice was never shaky, like the other girls’ voices were. The other girls were great too, but tracy had something that they did not.
Penny's in any Hairspray production always ROCK! We did Hairspray over the summer, and our Penny was AMAZING! This Penny is just awesome!! Amber's movement is super full out too. Great vid. :)
Is it just me or when amber sing the part, " and when we have kids you can torture them." does she sound very country in her voice? Either way good video i love it :)
Omg. This isn't a performing arts high school? Wow, this looked like a great production. I would pay a nice amount of money to watch this show just from this performance. I really like all their voices too.
Michael Dewey how long did you practice the musical because we're doing the same musical working with kids from 6-18 and we have two weeks to learn and practise the whole show and it's just as good as yours....
this makes me love Amber- she was so enthusiastic- on someone else it wold have looked overdone, but the actress pulled it off quite well- actually making Tracy look not as passionate
This is brilliant, perfectly in role and the vocals are out of this world. Fantastic! At 3:03, I have to ask, did Tracy's actor forget to do the movements with her arms?
At 1:13 through 1:15 look at Ms. VonTussle's a.k.a. Amber's mother's a.k.a. the mother in pink's face! It's hillarious! Haha, and this is pretty good I'm Tracy in my production. So this will be fun.
@tytyerose hahah!! i saw that!! at first i was like...what the heck?! then i realized she was making a face!! That's cool!! i'm Penny in my Production!!
I think these were the actors that came to Saskatoon when my dad took me and my best friend in 2008 but I’m not sure 🤔 they sound like them though so 🤷🏾♀️
