+chxrylisnotonfire x I sectioned off the part of hair that I wanted to cut and the rest I just tied up in a really tight bun. Then I just went in with the clippers. If you're not experienced with using clippers (like me) try asking some one who is for help or just simply go to a professional hair dresser. If you do go to a hair dresser make sure to take references!

Sorry for getting back to you so late. 😅 Yes, I would cut the baby hairs on my side cut. I also have a lot of baby hairs & it looked weird if I didn’t cut them off, as well as my sideburns 😊

Do you do your buns tight? Try pulling it on all sides on top to loosen it up a bit or you can get less hair. Hope this helps :)

If you're still on the fence I'd wait But I don't think you will lol. I thought I was going to regret it too but once I did it, it felt liberating. I have been wanting to shave my head for years and I kept talking about it and my mom was like I'm done hearing you talk about this im going to shave it for you so you can shut up 😂 Either way it's just hair and I'll grow back. If you want your mom to on board with you, just let her know how you feel about it and that your well aware that it's going to take some time to grow back. And right now it's the perfect time to do anything "drastic" since we're all stuck at home due to the pandemoc. Or you can just do what I did lol 😂

+Satya Srikanth I actually considered it at one point. My hair does an illusion it may look like I have a lot of hair but in reality I don't. I'd say I have an average amount of hair. I feel that if I were to chop off the other side I'll end up with very little hair.
