Hairy Heel Wart Research and Diagnostics

In this Research and Diagnostics session, Dr. Terry Engelken, DVM with Iowa State University Veterinary Diagnostics and Production Animal Medicine, shares his findings from research supported by the Iowa Beef Industry Council. He biopsied the feet from 139 cattle at nine Iowa feedlots to identify the organisms involved in Hairy Heel Wart and the progression of the disease.
