Thank you for watching! I haven't really written creole before nor have I studied it in school. There's a lot of rules I don't know for the written word so it would probably take a REALLLLLYYYYY long time to upload a video like that. But who knows, maybe some day in the future??
It would definitely be nice to do more of these! Since I'm mostly doing videos mostly for fun it may take longer to film, edit, upload, and translate. But I do want to try and do another one. Thanks for watching!
New subscriber here. You're speaking Haitian Creole very well. As a first generation Haitian-American myself...I feel your pain Sista. I always responded in English when my parents spoke Creole...and I always felt awkward just speaking fluent Creole even though I knew how to.
Welcome and thank you! It takes me some time to get back into the flow but when I do it feels less awkward and super fun. Hahaha, yes we can be so self-conscious when speaking another language. My mother is fluent in English yet she doesn't think she speaks well even though her English is perfect. Here's to being brave and trying the best we can despite everything else!
