I liked their group but hated their brave orders. And swin could of been more of a better character, I think his skills set needed a bit of an improvement. Then again I've only played this game mode on Abyss mode.
@Henrique Vasconcelos and what exactly is your point? My original comment says C's 3 kids. Renne isn't one of them. Just because a character joins another party does not make their allegiance fall with the other party. That's like saying Fie is a possible love interest with Van just because she appears in Kuro. Do you see how flawed your logic is? Your argument about Duvalie is also invalid because she explicitly states that her faith lies with the stahlritter and the stahlritter alone. The same can be said about Vita and the grandmaster.
It really sounds fresh but also has a sense of finality in it, like the final opening song of a long-running anime show. I don't usually ask for vocal arranges but man, THIS could be a very good vocal track if done right. So dang catchy.
Ive read in another comment that Crossbell theme is by sonoda Erebonia theme is by unisuga ... this is by koguchi, the newest composer.. Omg, they could be a good TRIO!!!!
It is a such a great piece. So fresh and unique (it fits this route perfectly)...and the fact that it was created by a new composer makes it even better. I really hope we will get more tracks from him in the future (dude has talent). Edit: although it would have been cool if they had let him compose at least one Boss Theme for this game xD
Makes me sad this guy didn't atleast get 1 boss theme in his own route (not sure how the composer situation is, but they should of kept the one for cs3 and 4, a different one who handled crossbell arc, and whoever this is for C(sounds like a octopath style but with actual different music sets 😂)
This one feels fresh, which fits with how this route is about new characters. So good! It's unlike the style of any composer I've heard, maybe this is a work from the new hire, Koguchi?
@@Britmadny Hence the "surprised", still trying to grasp whose work this is because the guitar reminds me of him, but everything else feels very not him. Could very well be the new guy.
Arvin and Yunyo have both guessed Jindo, which definitely seems possible. But at the same time, something about the composition just doesn't feel like him to me. My bet's on Koguchi.
It kinda fits thematically if it's indeed Koguchi. New characters, new story, new guy handling the theme. Also yeah I don't think it's Jindo either, but since this is Falcom, we can only guess until Josep finally gets his hand on them composer credit leaks.
@@mystery8820 yes, he does, not sure how much you spoiled yourself, but despite my lack of knowledge of Japanese (have English subbed playthroughs guide me through what's going on lol), and yeah I say C's route is overall my favorite, especially party wise
Huh...yeah their weapons are remarkably similar. (Sort of minor spoiler that narrows down Cs identity a little bit) As interesting as that would be though, it is someone else, and its actually somewhat easy to figure out by comparing promo images to some characters that fit the bill from the other Kiseki games...
What a track. As some others have said in the comments, it's incredibly unique among all the normal battle themes we've heard so far in the series and I personally love it. It just feels so fresh and different, I'm down to hear more stuff like it in the future.
It remembers me a little of Trails in the Sky the second battle theme, or Trails of Cold Steel 1. It's the type of track that sticks on you head, it's not too strong, it's the type of track of a "new beggining", that's the feel I have for those two I mentioned and now for this one.
@@TheBasara555 My personal prediction is that: .Singa will do roughly 60% of the ost, including the opening theme, normal battle theme, and the bulk of the boss themes. .Jindo will get about the same as in Hajimari, it's a toss up whether or not he'll get a choir budget again tho. .Unisuga will get about the same as in Hajimari and Ys IX. He'll compose 1 super masterpiece like he has been the past several games, but I don't think he's going to get the final dungeon theme. .The uncredited contractor "N" will make a return. They'll do.... Maybe 3 or 4 tracks. .Koguchi will get around 6 tracks, including something story important. Don't have any predictions about whether it'll be a major boss theme, final boss theme, or final dungeon theme. .Sonoda is going to have the remainder dumped on his shoulders again, poor guy...
@@MaskedKingDavid I really want a way to tell kondo to stop bullying Unisuga. Also it's fine to use Singa. Just don't give him guitars or synths. Force him to compose piano and violin tracks. Make him more involved in producing atmospheric tracks instead of battle/boss. Singa's boss tracks in hajimari were abhorrent because of the poor transitions.
@@d3ly746 But even then his piano and violin stuff tends to be weaker then what the others can make. And no matter what his songs will still be repetitive and have bad mixing and quality which'll just make them stick out like a sore thumb in the ost. And his tendency to "experiment" and then leave failed experiments in the song probably wouldn't go away either.... Despite that, I'm personally cool with Singa composing for Falcom as long as he only touches somewhat unimportant atmospheric tracks (and maybe the vocal opening themes) and stays far away from any remotely important dungeon themes/battle themes/the ending themes. Falcom still gets to cheap out a bit, and we don't have to suffer through another No End No World Instrumental/Knock on NOX/A-to-Z/Judgement Time/Boss Theme 3/Hajimari epilogue themes ever again.
Was a bit thrown off when I first heard this in-game. Sounded way too different to the other recent battle themes. Almost a throwback to the Sky trilogy battle themes. It works really well.
I like the direction they went in this one because just before they announced this game I thought to myself "wouldn't an anti hero protag be cool in a Kiseki game?" and then, whoops, whaddya know? It's an anti-hero protag!
@@k.s854 Oh boy. None of Falcom's internal composers are ever credited for their work. Y'know all the masterpieces Unisuga has made? The huge quantities of music Sonoda makes every recent game? They went uncredited save for a vague, "composed by Falcom Sound Team JDK." And poor Ishibashi wasn't even credited as part of the sound team for Sky SC because he left the company before the game was released. Ishibashi, the guy who composed Silver Will and Merciless Savior. That's like John Williams not being credited for his work on the Star Wars films. And to make matters worse for the internal composers, the external composers also get credited with the same vague, "composed by Falcom Sound Team JDK." Imagine being someone as talented as Unisuga and the closest thing you get to actual credit for your work lumping you in with Singa. (Whether you like Singa's stuff or not is irrelevant. It's objectively far inferior to pretty much anything Unisuga has produced and the crediting system is just flat out unfair.) And Singa has been getting to compose far more tracks just because he's cheap and quick. Far cheaper and quicker then Unisuga I'm sure. (Unisuga didn't even get to compose an epilogue theme this game. What the heck?) And I can't forget to bring up the time when Kondo called all the sound team's work before Ys VIII "weak melodied and uninspired." (So basically about half the music Unisuga and Sonoda ever produced for Falcom. Including tracks like Azure Arbitrator, Blue Destination, Release of the Far West Ocean, the list goes on.) I don't compose, but I bet that's pretty much the most insulting thing you could possibly say to any creator. And it's also a slap in the face to the ex-sound team members like Momiyama (Unfathomed Force, Get Over the Barrier), Osaki (Inevitable Struggle, Innocent Primeval Breaker), Takeshita (Overdosing Heavenly Bliss, The Fate of the Fairies), and again, Ishibashi. (Poor guy must be rolling in his grave.) That's pretty much the extent of it that I know without getting into the band incident. If you want to know more you can probably ask Josep here ( curiouscat.qa/jdkluv ) (he's also probably reading this comment and might just respond) or you can poke around the composer breakdown spreadsheet ( docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zE387MG1GcGzPsvj7XjwP4Jcg9lz0Bz15yrYtGHpc1I/edit#gid=1173887864 ) which has a ton of info regarding Falcom. Have a nice day/night!
@@MaskedKingDavid Thanks for the detailed explanation. That's honestly really sad. What baffles my mind is Kondo's comment about the music being uninspired, like music taste is subjective but the sound team made so many amazing tracks before Ys 8 I feel like it's just heartless to call their work boring. You have a nice day/night as well!
@@tomakride5624 To be fair though, some people didn't. I was spoiled earlier with youtube and uuuugh I love this series so much that it isn't a big deal... but i'd still rather not hear it xD.
I'd assume he sent a threat on his taped message to the Vanders, and basically class vii is hunting him as he apparently hurt our boy, olivert (and schera lol)
When the English version comes out, WHOEVER is beneath the mask, I'm tempted to keep it on as I just really like this C's design(crow's was alright, but the cap and psuedo Darth Vader x power ranger is too much in spider man 1's green goblin range of tacky yet effective 😂 and that's the goat for my childhood there)

@@sorasenpai6986 I thought based on his moveset that C was either Rufus or Cedric but C was way too tall to be Cedric. So I was hardly surprised it ended up being Rufus.
While I have yet to play CS4, what I have heard of it's music I feel it's the weakest in the series. I feel like it has progressively gotten worse since CS1, with fewer memorable themes with every game (played CS1 and 2 two years ago and I still hum a big chunk of their soundtracks). After hearing the three battle themes I feel that this new LOH is back on track, and lives up to Sky/Crossbell/early CS.
The first two definitely have the better soundtracks. III was mostly mediocre at best and IV seems to be the same. Maybe I will hear something good later but the best track for me so far is the Saint Gral Labyrinth.
It honestly just comes down to taste bruh. I don't really have many songs throughout Kiseki and Ys that I don't like. Its a very small handful. I personally prefer Unisuga's Ys VIII portfolio over a good portion of his Cold Steel tracks for example, but they are still awesome. Hajimari has music that feels like its from every arc, and a lot of unique stuff all its own.
I beat it a couple of weeks ago now but it turns out Sen IV was hiding most of the good tracks in the final stretch. One track is used questionably but the last hours of the game actually sound good, it was a pleasant change. The first two soundtracks are still vastly superior but you will not have to deal with mediocrity the whole way through at least.
SPOILERS BEWARE Youve been warned... Here it comes... Last chance, this might ruin the game for you... Its Rufus. How? I dont know, but he is for some reason (The other one is probably related to the other timeline). Funnily enough he already shared rufus's general movement, fighting style and some poses from the promo art so...in retrospect its easy to see (look for the promo image where he reaches out his hand with dark magic stuff and then compare it to his s craft from cs3. Its the exact same pose, down to the way he holds his sword. Not sure how I didnt see it coming)xD
@@sothe0539 **MASSIVE HAJI SPOILERS** There's no alternate timeline involved. The Rufus that appears in PVs is a robot and C is the real one. C/Rufus creates the NuILF after someone tries to murder him in prison and he finds out about Rufusbot existence. The game is about clones/AIs, which is probably better than the mindfuck alternate timelines would create.
