Ashita no Joe uses boxing to not be an anime just about Joe, while Hajime is something that manages to convey the message of boxing with its fights, characters something that can really show what boxing is.
Haven't finished Joe but I have seen Ippo, both are really good shows. I really like Joe's rivalry with Rikiishi, I can't wait to see what they do with it later in the show, they could be great friends Edit: I've caught up some more and am now watching Ashita no Joe 2. I don't know about Joe and Rikishi being friends anymore :[ Edit again: I have now finished both seasons of Joe, honestly one of the most memorable anime I've watched. Carlos Rivera will always be one of my favorites.
And Carlos' coach and best friend, Robert, basically left him after what happened. That made me sad 😔 Carlos Rivera is Such a good boxer and person. One of my favs too!
@@justanormalperson8944 Same, watching how Such a "Happy" and promising boxer becomes ashes is unforgettable. I rebember i waited from that episode to see Carlos again because i loved him sm. But when i Saw him in the ep 40, i rebember i teared a bit and got sentimental with him 🥲 when he wanted to see Yabuki so hard Only to fight with him again etc... Carlos is a great character, and they used and then threw him again without him noticing, he doesnt desserve that tho. Hope you liked ashita no Joe! Because is a classic anime/manga that you won't forget easily! 😌
@× Kardia Show was so good I went out of my way to watch the original pilots for it too. Now I'm just bummed out that barely anyone talks about it these days.
I’m surprised this video has gotten a lot more views than I expected as I made this meme on whim. Also to clarify, I appreciate and enjoy both series. Though of course Ashita no Joe will remain as my favorite boxing anime and my favorite anime in general.
@takeshinogami6076 I've unfortunately only seen the compilation film of the 70s original, but i can attest to Ashita no Joe being possibly the best boxing anime (or sports anime period) Ashita no Joe also happens to be one of my favorite anime/manga franchises of the 70s, after Lupin the III and Devilman.
Hajime no ippo: yey boxing i win im champion wooo Ashita no joe: im poor,my friend died in my hand,my friend get crippled by the world champ A lot things happend in this 2 anime including bright side of boxing and dark side of boxing
ashita no joe is a classic.but i will say, currently reading the manga..it has about as much filler as ..actual boxing in real life lol..a little too real at times
Stop with the fucking chad meme it's fucking annoying..... Chad memes be like: oohhh reject woman don't get distracted by your grind, like shut the fuck up the only thing your grinding is your dick
Idk why when i watch hajime no ippo i focus more on the fight and the boxing but for ashita no Joe it's the story Both anime are good on their own and i think shouldn't be compared both are good if you compare both anime its like comparing fear and hunger with doom eternal
For me Ashita no Joe is better,i love Ippo but Ashita no joe is more emotional, realistic and have better character development.Ippo on the other hand is also peak and I like motivation that manga and anime gives you.I love both.PEAK fiction
Tbh , HNI hasn't ended and the fact that it has awful amount of fillers ( could be useful ) makes it interesting of how things would turn out in the future
both are peak anime but i love hajime no ippo more and i think your wrong at this video hajime no ippo have very good screens too yeah its some times shitting but its acually good
As técnicas, estratégias,e etc.
Who gives a shit for hajime no ippo?
@@trigunn3414 Ippo is garbage, I remember the first time I watched Joe I realized everything I liked from ippo was taken directly from Joe. Fuck Morikawa for plagarizing Ashita no Joe and passing it off as "homages"
@@sphxtd5400 Regardless of what it is, your way of judging the quality of a work based on how strong its characters are is absurd It's a very immature mentality
@@JetSkyGX I wrote that Ippo is just stronger than Joe. I had nothing against the work. In the HNI, the work is about boxing and ANJ shows the problems in boxing.
