you explained it well. the Dutch are pro's because Hardstyle and Hardcore originated from the Netherlands. But as someone else said, you don't really have to be good at it. Having fun and enjoying the music is more important to me. But still it would be cool to get better at it.

@@slendyshow Im back i can dance now. I can do the back step into clap under my leg. I can do the back step (hoppy hakken) i have implemented a break tap now so i have more variation, i can do the normal hakken step and so much more. Im still learning. And it all started here, THANK YOU SO MUCH :D. I remember at the start i was almost falling over when trying to dance and looked like a drunk parrot, but i kept trying and after a year i figured the back step out. Looking forward to seeing you at Defqon 1 :D. I will probably spend most of my time at the uptempo stage (yellow i think).

As a early Rotterdam gabber i can tel you you do a great job. just remember feel the bass and enjoy, do what you like and you be good. this is new scool hakkuh, i personal don't like the hook heel kick and stuff that's coppied from jump-style. i prefer the old style but that's an opinion. you also can trow you're legs in the air to waist height we called that Ruffnecken, or bring you're kines up in an a perfect hook that's what we called shadowlands rave. but that was wayyyyy back in time. enjoy end keep on doing the good job. (sorry for my bad English i got sexdaily.... uhm dyslexia :-) )

also, I see many hakk a different way, they don't always use the basic hakk move you showed at the start, they just kind of shuffle backwards if you get what I mean, what is that?
