Hakone 

Hakone, Japan.
We caught a train from Tokyo to Mishima Station where we picked up our car hire and drove to our accomodation in Hakone. We stayed the night in a sort of airbnb style accommodation. The location was only afew minutes away from the Hakone shrine which was perfect for us as we were planning on arriving there at the crack of dawn. The accommodation was very cozy and we really felt right at home. We didn't have much time to explore Hakone unfortunately as we were headed to Lake Kawaguchiko after we finished up at the shrine.
We really enjoyed the feel Hakone had and hope to return to see what else Hakone has to offer.
