After two and a half years of hard work Tom has completed the Hakotora build. The Sunny truck with the GTR front end is jam packed with detail and custom fabrication work. Tom carried out almost all of the work in house himself, from design through to final production.
The pushrod suspension setup from modified S13 suspension is a great feature and the K24 setup for RWD with Toms custom concentric clutch setup is the perfect compliment.

Nice truck! I'm building something similar with a 620 (Inifiti G35 subframes, suspension, brakes, diff, axles, CD009, and VQ35DE). To gain space in the cab I pocketed the firewall and mounted my Tilton pedal box deeper into the footwell. Now when the pedal swings it recesses into the pocket. I will also be 3D printing a shallower pedal. I did several other things (dropped the floor, shallower dash, etc) in my 620 and all have helped to make it pretty much as roomy as my 510.

The original flares are from carbon signal but Tom remade them in forged carbon. The wheels are 14 and tyres are R888 but the size is NLA

@@thedownshiftchannel Thank you for responding. I believe that I have watched all the videos. However, I did not see anyone related to the rack and pinion. Maybe I am a bit confused and you did not swap to rack and pinion! I am trying to set up an s14 rack and pinion in the same kind of car, install a sr20det s15, electric prius steering, and rear s14 suspension. I am still trying to figure out how to set everything up. Have a good one. By the way, your car at the end was amazing. Thank you for sharing!
