Honshu island of Japan has amazing terrain. Hakuba mountain rage is the biggest and most challenging terrain. It’s normally a little warmer in Honshu than Hokkaido, so it’s not every winter it’s on for two months straight, but 2022 was.

Wow what an amazing run! Where exactly is that in hakuba? Did you hike from the lift station? Is hakuba every year like that? Im going to be in japan this feb and im thinking of going to hakuba boarding, niseko is too far from tokio and it seems to be crowded and pretty flat... Appreciate any answers!
