@@facundolagossosa2014 you better have some really strong defenses because a lot of people will probably try to argue. Not me tho, I'm horrible at arguing.
@@youweird6625 The English dub calls him Louis (silent s) and Haru is still Haru. Where did they even get the idea of calling her "Hal" from? The letter L apparently isn't present in Japanese, so they call Louis "Rouis", but then lose consistency by calling Haru "Hal" which has an L.
It's difficult to pronounce L in Japanese sometimes, take Lugia for example, their Japanese name is pronounced Rugia! However I'm unsure the meaning behind Haru's name being Hal..
this is one of those rare times where the "Will They or Won't They" Cliche actually makes a lot of sense. Sure it's clear that Legoshi and Haru have strong feelings for each other, but because of their natural instincts, there's a strong chance that their relationship just could not be possible. That's what makes this series so freakin' Amazing!
Exactly! I love how for a change the couple directly acknowledges their differences and possible challenges and works through that without being in denial or trying to run from any of it. Love, and by extension life, doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
@@ClaraBell3452That would make sense since Legoshi was named after Bela Lugosi. The actor who portrayed Dracula in the old black and white, silent film, days.
Yes. Hal is her original spelling, they pronounce it “haru” in Japan just the same. Everyone in the comments that are surprised about the spelling and making fun of it need to educate themselves a little more.
@@des8699 Her name is not “Hal” it is “Haru” and it is pronounced “Ha-rue”. Haru is an actual Japanese unisex name meaning spring. EDIT: Someone in the comments explained it’s because of the Katakana spelling. However, it’s still pronounced “Haru”.
@@des8699 The name is written in Katakana but is still HA-RU and has no indication that it is HAL. They don't need to educate themselves at all. They are already educated.
Spoiler: "WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT WAS SO MEMORABLE I COULD STAY A VIRGIN FOR LIFE!" -Legosi at some chapter (epic moment, netflix replied to me, and gave it a heart)
i don’t know why but whenever legoshi fights with a carnivore in order to protect haru from getting eaten by the carnivore, he just suddenly looks hot with the red eyes and that haru is just sitting there crying on the floor begging legoshi to stop fighting with the carnivore. its just the perfect drama and romantic scene everyone wants to watch, love the art style and story❤👏🏻
@@derryn_2316 and fell in love with legoshi because he never pitied her, he saw her as a person rather than a sexual object or someone who needed his help.
“How many Loafs of Bread have you eaten in your loaf Jojo” “I don’t know how many times have you read the Beastars manga” “What” “I’m FOUR PARRELL UNIVERSES AHEAD OF YOU”
Their relationship are confusing so far bc sometime they acted like friends then they were sometimes sus and many times Legoshi tried to kiss her but it got stopped and sometimes she was mad at him and they almost did not talk much like can they decide soon? But i also got disapointed that we barely saw many scene of them together in season 2, and the ending so far really disapointing me:/ so i really hope there will come a season 3
Yeah there wasn't much scene of them in season 2 and the ending so far was really disapointing me like that wasn't the ending i wanted, they could atleast have kissed:/ so i hope there will come a season 3
@@mysticneko3048 they will not be fitting the remainder of the manga into s2. They’ll most likely end after the end of the arc. Maybe they’ll fit in the Louis and Legosi resolution somehow by skipping some content so they can end the series on a high note....if they’re not willing to make a s3. Which would be cool since we haven’t met 2 awesome characters yet
@@mysticneko3048 I defs think they'll complete the arc of Tem's murder in this season, and maybe introduce Legosi's life at the Hidden Condo. Thats sorta what I speculate, cause Season 1 managed to fit a whole 47-48 chapters in the episodes, so I think whatever fits in will make it. I just hope they don't alter anything, like cut some important scenes out.
The reason why they changed the name of Haru to Hal is: Haru's name is written on katakana as ハル, not はる (hiragana) Katakana used for non-japanese word and sometimes change the r to l. But yeah, I agree Haru should be pronounced as Haru, not Hal.
That's really odd taking into consideration "haru" in hiragana/kanji means "spring", whether it means the season or jumping, it still would work in both scenarios
i never thought haru could ever get mispronouced considering Paru named he to be the easiest shit to NOT MESS UP... but somehow... we got HAL? oh wait i guess is PAL Itagaki i guess.
@@josuelatino7074 Cuando Haru queda en bagras y tambien cuando casi hace el delicioso con legoshi xD.... Mi mamá entro en mi cuarto, y tu ve que quitarla deinmediato Hsjaka.. -DORIME- Fin del comunicado ;)
I've read all the manga but I'm still hella excited to see Louis again. Man they did him good. At first I didn't care for Louis that much, but I can easily make him one of my favorite characters now. :)
If Legoshi manages to grow a pair (romantically, in every other aspect this boy has a quad), take Haru's feelings into consideration more often (or at all) and learn to read the room better, then yes the do have a chance.
@@salad7821 No, it’s misspelt. Haru is the correct way, Netflix just assumes it’s an L when it isn’t. :/ EDIT: Ok someone in comments explained it’s because her name is spelt in Katakana, which is why Netflix changed it to “Hal”. It still should be pronounced as Haru though
Well, it's kind of a bitter-sweet victory once you finally get to know what happens, I mean yeah you'll know the outcome of their relationship but the ending of the manga was quite rushed and half-baked, like they didn't know what story they should focus on. Hopefully, this anime adaptation fixes those issues the manga had
I'd like to know why they labeled it nsfw. It's really not. It's literally just clips from season 1 of the anime. Regardless her name's haru. Not hal. Lol. I hate the way american companies handle anime sometimes.
Ok... so I have my prediction on what will happen in season 2 from this and the trailer of season 2, Legoshi will want to be able to get stronger to beat Rouise who is now the leader of the shishi gami (or went home to his rich father, idk yet) so he goes to the academy to get stronger and train, but with it comes great pain and suffering that he shows at schools, especially to his friend Jack. (Thats all I can think of so far) lol
