In the previous video with @ilisulaiman, I talked about Chinese Soups. Since some of you requested, today, I would like to share the recipe for my favourite, Lotus Root Soup.
It's hearty, meaty with the lotus root, we've got soft tendered peanuts in the soup and the savouriness from the dried squid and the fish sauce 🤤🤤. In the actual recipe, people usually use pork bones but I replaced it with chicken this time so that all of you can try it.
I recommend you try one of my favourite soups, It's very common in a Chinese households. It's really delicious and easy to make. Remember to tag me once you've done this recipe. See you next week!
Ingredients:
½ of Kampung Chicken
1 nos / 250gm - Lotus Root
200gm - Ground nuts
8 pieces - Red Dates
60gm - Dried Squid
2 litres - Water
3 tbs - Fish sauce
A pinch of Salt
