When that wind blast blew behind him i lost it and laughed so hard, its a beautiful scene and i love the music but i just couldn't keep a straight face
It was hard to imagine how Sauron deceived the elves. If it was a show like that, you might have been deceived. Sauron looks like an angel sent by the gods.
This is by far My favorite Scene of the Season so far, i absolutely love the Way Sauron did this, Appearing as The Emissary Of The Valar with the Sun behind him, Humbly claiming to be Celebrimbor's partner and nothing more, it's brilliant...
And it's a very important in its imagery. Sauron appears with the sun behind him and adopting the pose of images of Christ and of the Blessèd Virgin Mary. This is the point; the Devil can work miracles, appear as anything, as anyone and infiltrate true religion. This is how and why people can firmly believe they are doing the Lord's work by burning heretics or crashing airliners into buildings. I don't know of any other literature which has made this assertion so daringly and explicitly. Remarkable.

@@Kepha3 Thanks for that quote, another important passage. The Emperor Constantine, Eusebius and everyone since believed that when the Emperor saw the the Cross in the sky with the words _In hoc signo vinces_ (In this sign shalt thou conquer) that it was from Jesus. I wonder. Maybe it was Satan saying "You can use this sign to exert power over people." The secular Roman state then took over Christ's Church. That day to this, the rest is frequently very depressing history.
This scene is amazing; it's very grandiose and effectively conveys how Sauron manages to grip Calebrimbor by overwhelming him with majesty. Who wouldn't be impressed and humbled by such a spectacle?
he is not devil. he is literally an angel but fallen angel. he wants power, order, bring stabilty to middle earth. he is great smith, an artist, a demigod
@@Kalenderz35 Sauron would be “a devil” but not “The Devil” as Morgoth was unquestionably The Devil of Tolkien's works. After a number of name changes the elves started calling him Sauron The Abhorred. So Sauron is Tolkien's equivalent of a Fallen Angel.
THIS is how he should have appeared in season one, and the three elven rings should not have been made until after all the others once Sauron departed. If they had just followed the damn lore of the books the shows ratings wouldn't be in the gutter.
Once you realize this is sauron talking about himself to himself making celebrimbor believe its about him, the scene is even better. I bet morgoth and sauron felt like mere scions of feanor, wanting to bestow that desire in celebrimbor, and the best evidence is when he calls celebrimbor "the lord of the rings", which obviously what sauron thinks of himself.
They really nailed that scene, epic and powerful. As opposed to this other sequence featuring that budget Sauron trying to convince 21 orcs in a cave to serve him only to be stabbed to death by rusty daggers.
Celebrinbor is going to be tricked by Sauron to make the one ring. I remember him when his spirit was in that silver ring and worked with the Ranger for a while.
He doesn't. He forged the One alone at Mount Doom. At least if the show decides to follow the lore for once. He does this to forge corrupt rings for everyone else to spread his influence.
No.. Even with the One Ring Sauron has no arial attack. You need an army of archers to have a chance. Or plot armor with 1 lucky shot like Bard did while being distracted. There is nothing stopping Smaug from biting of Saurons finger and flying to Mordor. He is K.O'd within minutes in a solo fight.
@@JesusChrist-sx1lf Enchanted missile send by Sauron himself will pierce even dragon Scale like butter, while Sauron is immune to fire. But Sauron doesn’t need to fight, he will just dominate Smaugs will, because dragons were made by Morgoth to serve evil as bioweapon.
@@romanivanov4288 That is fan fiction there is no proof that his magic is stronger than dragon scale. Especially since offensive magic isn't his preferred attribute or what he is known for. Also false. Sauron is not on par with Morgoth and the most we've seen him is commanding animals or creatures in much lower tier, like wolves. But the proof is Gandalf own words.. "Smaug owes allegiance to no one. But if he should side with the enemy, a dragon could be used to terrible effect". Meaning Smaug has a strong will and mind of his own, no doubt immune to beasts spell-enslaved or similar control. Otherwise he wouldn't needing bargain with. Smaug wins against Sauron it's that simple.
Hey! Comments section! I just wanted to let you know that no matter how hard you shill for Amazon, no matter how loudly you try to shout down their critics, no matter how high into the air you thrust the few good scenes this show has, Rings of Power is still a woke dumpster fire that has no respect for the source material and deserves nought but to be a cautionary tale for all that comes after!
@romanivanov4288 Oh look, what a surprise, a snowflake melting down. I like when people use the word “woke”, as it immediately tells me they are not the brightest crayon in the box 😂
@@MerpDerp-hz9tt lol, for words that really should be used comment will be instantly deleted and for actions that should be done you will be in jail. For now.
The Tolkien estate has only allowed Amazon access to the Silmarilion and nothing else. As such, Amazon cannot be true to Tolkien's history, as thr Tolkien Estate literally won't let them. THATS why this show isn't 100% accurate
