the tumbling in this routine actually was great, double front no squat and controlled lunge, good form and rise on the front lay + rudi, and good height, form and another controlled lunge on front 2/1. ironically they should have taken -0.05 off for that ring position. only 10 i’ll except was her bars 10 because that routine was gorgeous.
@@ameliabalch831 the small leg and feet details are unfortunately unfairly ignored in NCAA, so i just tried to focus on the things we can actually hope judges will take.
I'm going to apologize in advance if it sounds like I am ripping into her. It's the judges I am pissed at. Haleigh totally rocked this meet and should be super proud. Now... -0.05 - flexed feet in double front tuck -0.05 - leg separation in double front tuck -0.05 - leg separation in Rudi -0.05 - insufficient height of rear foot in switch ring -0.05 - crossed feet in the front double full 9.75 This is insulting, not just to other girls hitting cleaner routines and scoring lower, but to Haleigh. That girl works her ass off every day in the gym and in class. She doesn't deserve to become the poster child for NCAA overscoring.
This 10 frenzy is an insult to the intelligence of the fan base. I have no paper to say I am a certified judge I dont need one to know when I have seen a performance worthy of a 10. These judges need to get real and the announcers/commentators need to start calling them out or at least tell it like it is or maybe I should say tell it like it should be.
@@Matt-bb1vv Oh yeah. you should see the flack I get for being honest about Jade Carey, Selena Harris, Audrey Davis, Trinity, Sierra Brooks, Suni Lee, Grace McCallum...etc I'd like to point out, regarding Haleigh, that I probably wouldn't take _all_ those deductions were I judging, but I just wanted to point out the deductions that were viable and how it was ridiculous the 10s were given.
so were the judges just ignoring the flexed feet and leg separation in the double front, leg separation in rudi, and terribly crossed feet in the double full?
