an outstanding young drummer...very animated and knows how to work the crowd. halestorm are bring real rock music back, they are the best band i've heard in ages. i pray they bring death upon the rap and pop garbage that's been brainwashing kids in the last several years. and then there's arejays' sister lzzy...the best female vocalist i've ever heard. love to the band, keep it up halestorm!!!
I love this guy! So glad he gets the spotlight and the credit he's due. It's a shame many drummers don't get seen like Scott Phillips of Alter Bridge who quietly go about their business.
Actually, he was with promark at first, then he was with Vater for a while, then he switched to AHEAD (the manufacturer of the Tommy Lee Sticks), and now he switched back to Vater.
The only thing the solo lacks is structure , composition and controlled chaos, except for @1:51 when he tries to channel that old dude with the big nose that used to play for RUSH, cause you can clearly hear a part of that dudes solo and he was very well structured and his compositional skill was just off the charts but that guy was a 1 in a trillion human, this guy like the rest of us is only human is suppose, the other guy is the measuring stick every other aspiring drummer measures themselves against.
Dear A Sopsanaro. We know who you are talking about .this guy is super fast ok . But a long way off the “ Professor “ No planning just mahem . Plus the sound on this is super annoying…. Ha needs a new tech …… all treble NO bass to hear I will not want to hear again
He's allowed to think he's the best. Music is subjective. If his playing moves him emotionally more than Vinnie than he's the greatest. Who gives a fuck how hard something is to play of it doesn't move the listener.
Arejay is a damn good drummer. But to call him the greatest is an insult to many other drummers who’ve been doing their thing better since before Arejay was swimming in his dads nutsack
@@truesaiyanpower9739 I'm not sure how you can say this sucked, he did something very, very similar to the guy you linked me, with the ride cymbal pattern and quads, and added much, much more entertainment to it than the dude from megadeth. He had crowd participation, and was all over more entertaining to the average viewer, not just a drummers perspective, especially with the massive sticks. This solo is not bad, say it is say it isnt, but it was way, way more entertaining than the dude from megadeth, hate to be the one to tell you.

tom richardson Don't hate just cause the chicks dig him. Not every drummer has to do polyrhythmic patterns to be a beast. It's not always just about cold, bloodless technique. Has to be human and have a bit of feeling sometimes, too. And why the severe homophobia dude. Seriously? People who call other people mincers or gaylord usually turn out to be just as gay. Nothing wrong with being gay but when you make that big of a deal about it, usually means you're trying to hide your own... Might as well just come out of the closet and try hating less. You'll live longer.
