I don't understand how anyone could dislike this (although there is only 9). Regardless of music genre she has one of the strongest female voices in today's music. Well Done!

Love or hate Glee, it's made sure this songs sales will be far more than it would possibly have been without it's inclusion on Glee. Love or hate the Glee versions of songs, they bring popularity and sales to the covered bands, which can only ever be a good things.

I heard this song on Glee and loved it, and when I found out it was originally Halestorm's song it made it EVEN MORE AMAZING! I love this chick!!! And yes.. nothing compares to the original!!! =) I'm dedicating this song to my entire group of friends tonight!!
Let me just say this about all the Glee hate: Lzzy gave Glee the rights to her song. She had faith in them that they could produce a wonderful cover of the song. Glee's version may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they did an amazing job at covering an amazing song.
While I am not afriad to admit that Glee turned me on to a few artists, I am proud to say I have known about Halestorm for a while. I caught them when they opened for Shinedown a few years ago. They blew me away from the start.
Seen them live start of February, also seen the acoustic session ealier in the day, stunning beautifull and stunning voice..and her brother is off his head!
I love both versions of this song. I am not pleased to say that I was a fan before they were on Glee. But love or hate Glee, you cannot deny that Lea Michele did that song some justice. I'm singing the original (clean) version at my year 11 awards evening and I cannot wait!
Anyone else think Lzzy reminds them of a younger Joan Jett, both in look and sound?? Only makes me like her that much more, as Joan was pioneer women in the rock world and Lzzy definitely continues what Joan started!

live halestorm is better than any album version. Lzzy can fucking sing! When I saw them last they did a cover of slave to the grind and it was badass! shes def up there in the best female vocals of all time right next to anne wilson of heart! They are at the top!

1st of all Lzzy wrote this one originally... so the language is original... the "clean version" is the only one that can ruin the song with language... And the language in my opinion gives it a more raw, real feel to it. If she would have toned it down it wouldn't mean the same, and it wouldn't be Lzzy and it wouldn't be Halestorm.
@Chi26trojans I don't think they've ever ruined a song, sure sometimes their versions have been decisively poor, especially in comparison to the original. But it always brings more popularity to the original, sales of the original song and others by the artist on iTunes always go up after they're on Glee. Glee covering a song is a good thing, which is why so many bands let them cover the songs, because they know they will benefit from it and likely even gain fans for future songs.
For gods sake guys, who cares if Glee brought you here or not, you're on a Halestorm video, move on. Not hating on Glee, just over going onto Halestorm videos and seeing every second comment as 'Glee brought me here!!!'.
