WAAF presented Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless at the House of Blues on Tuesday, May 12th. Before the show, WAAF hosted listeners for an exclusive acoustic set from both bands. This is an acoustic performance of "Apocalyptic." Halestorm consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, her brother drummer and percussionist Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith.

first time hearing Lzzy sing and Halestorm in general. Seen her interviews before but this is definitely a great first impression. Did not know she had a voice like that. All around awesome performance from the band.

Exactly. TOMMY LEE!!!! You said it! The bassist is so good too, and some live solo's of Joe are so fucking rock n'roll man, Idk why you are understimating them, they are where they deserve, they didn't became instantly famous, they have been around 19 years from a small town to big audiences, as openers, as supporting bands in tours, playing in bars where nobody knew them, to entire arenas full of fans. Her voice has been changing a lot from last year to this one, I say that probably next year after her second thickening in her voice finally ends, she will have a new beast inside her throath singing better than ever.
